Bi-Weekly Two-Wheeler Update: New Launches, Price Changes and Festive Season Deals

The past week has brought several updates in the Indian two wheeler market, including new motorcycle and scooter launches, updated features, price hikes and special discounts. Brands like TVS, Suzuki, Triumph, Aprilia, Ampere and Royal Enfield have introduced new models or updates. Bajaj and Jawa are offering festive season deals to attract buyers. From premium motorcycles to electric scooters, there are plenty of developments for two wheeler buyers to watch.

2026 TVS Apache RTR 310 Gets Quickshifter and New Sepang Blue Colour

TVS Motor has updated the 2026 Apache RTR 310 lineup in India, with prices starting at ₹2.30 lakh and going up to ₹2.97 lakh for the Anniversary Edition (ex-showroom). The earlier Top variant has been discontinued, and buyers can now choose the Base variant with or without a Quickshifter. The Sepang Blue colour is also available with the Base Quickshifter variant, priced at ₹2.57 lakh.

The motorcycle continues to use a 312.2cc engine producing 35.6 PS and 28.7 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Depending on the variant, features include a TFT display, cruise control, adjustable suspension, launch control, TPMS and cornering ABS. The update mainly focuses on variant options, features and colours, with no mechanical changes.

Ampere Nexus EX+ Launched at ₹1.30 Lakh With 136km Range

Greaves Electric Mobility has launched the Ampere Nexus EX+ electric scooter in India, priced at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The Intellipack variant costs ₹1.36 lakh and adds connected features. Both versions come with a 3kWh LFP battery, a claimed range of 136km and two colour options: Carbon Knight and Steel Grey.

The scooter gets a new 5kW electric motor producing 202Nm of wheel torque, with a claimed top speed of 93 kmph and 0–40kmph acceleration in 4.5 seconds. Features include four riding modes, a 6.2-inch digital display, LED lighting and 12-inch alloy wheels. The Intellipack version offers over 30 connected features through the Ampere Connect app, including live tracking and navigation. The battery comes with a five-year or 75,000km warranty.

Aprilia SXR GT 125 and 175 Launched in India, Prices Start at ₹1.10 Lakh

Aprilia India announced special launch prices for its new SXR GT scooter range. The SXR GT 125 hp-e is priced at ₹1,09,999, while the SXR GT 175 hp-e costs ₹1,29,999 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). Both scooters feature a touring-focused design, 14-inch wheels, and are available through Aprilia dealerships across India.

The SXR GT 125 gets a 124.45cc engine producing 7.8 kW and 10.4 Nm of torque, while the SXR GT 175 uses a 174.7cc engine delivering 9.76 kW and 14.14 Nm. Both models feature electronic fuel injection and telescopic front forks. The 125cc version gets CBS braking, while the 175cc model offers front ABS. The scooters come in different colour options and are designed for daily commuting and longer rides.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Prices Increased by Up to ₹2,000

Royal Enfield has increased the prices of the Classic 350 across all variants in India by up to ₹2,000. The motorcycle now starts at ₹1.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end Chrome variant costs ₹2.26 lakh. The Gorkha Edition has received a smaller ₹1,000 hike and is now priced at ₹2.12 lakh.

There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle. It continues to use a 349cc single-cylinder engine producing 20 bhp and 27 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The Classic 350 also gets telescopic front forks, twin rear springs and 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. Despite the price hike, it remains a popular choice in the modern classic motorcycle segment.

Triumph Bonneville T40, T40 Black and T4 Launched in India

Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Bonneville T40, T40 Black and T4 in India, priced at ₹2.79 lakh and ₹2.54 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). All three motorcycles feature classic Bonneville styling and a 350cc liquid-cooled engine producing 29 PS and 31 Nm of torque. The T40 and T40 Black get a 4-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, cruise control and advanced riding aids, while the T4 offers a colour LCD and three riding modes.

The motorcycles feature a 790mm seat height, twin rear shocks and spoked wheels. An optional low seat reduces the height to 770mm. Online bookings opened on October 7, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Deliveries of the T40 and T40 Black are scheduled to begin in the second week of November 2026, while the T4 deliveries will start in January 2027.

Triumph Reveals 2027 Street Triple 798, Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200

Triumph has revealed early images of its 2027 Street Triple 798, Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200. The Street Triple 798 gets a new 798cc three-cylinder engine developed using technology from Triumph’s Moto2 programme. It also features a revised chassis, a larger swingarm, an underbelly exhaust and redesigned LED headlights. However, its full engine specifications are yet to be announced.

The 2027 Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200 will receive updated styling and new radar systems, which could support features such as adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection. Triumph will reveal the Tiger 1200 on October 27, 2026, the Street Triple 798 on November 17, 2026, and the Tiger 900 on December 15, 2026. Suzuki Hayabusa Gets Three New Colours and a Special Edition

Suzuki has introduced three new colour options for the Hayabusa in India, along with a Special Edition. The standard model costs ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Special Edition is priced at ₹19.90 lakh. The new colours give buyers more styling choices.

The bike continues to use a 1,340cc engine producing 190 hp and 150 Nm of torque. Updates include a lighter lithium-ion battery and improved cruise control. The Special Edition gets exclusive graphics, special wheels and a single-seat cowl, while retaining the same engine.

Suzuki GSX-8R Gets ₹80,000 Discount, Now Priced at ₹9.09 Lakh

Suzuki is offering an ₹80,000 discount on the GSX-8R in India, bringing its price down to ₹9.09 lakh. The offer is available only while stocks last. The motorcycle competes with the Triumph Daytona 660 and is powered by a 776cc twin-cylinder engine.

The GSX-8R offers comfortable riding ergonomics, all-LED lighting, four traction control settings, and three riding modes. Its engine delivers strong mid-range performance, making it suitable for city rides and highway trips. The price cut makes it a more attractive option for buyers looking for a middleweight sportbike.

Festive Season Deals: Jawa All Stars Online and Bajaj Pulsar Offers Up to ₹12,000

Jawa All Stars Range Now Available on Amazon and Flipkart

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has made its All Stars range, including the Jawa 42 FJ, 42 Bobber and 42 OG, available on Amazon.in and Flipkart for the 2026 festive season. Buyers can select a bike online, while authorised dealerships handle the remaining payment, documents, registration and delivery.

The company also offers a standard warranty of four years or 50,000 km, extendable up to six years. Roadside assistance is available for up to eight years, and maintenance plans can cover up to five years. The online option aims to make buying a Jawa motorcycle easier for customers across India.

Bajaj Pulsar Festive Offer Offers Benefits Up to ₹12,000

Bajaj Auto has announced festive offers of up to ₹12,000 on select Pulsar motorcycles in India. The offer covers models including the Pulsar 125, NS125, Pulsar 150, N160, NS160, NS200, N250, P220F, RS200 and NS400Z. Benefits include cash discounts, zero processing fees, and five free services. The exact offers depend on the model and location and are available for a limited period at authorised dealerships.

Several Pulsar models have also received new features. The Pulsar 125 and 150 now get a 5-inch TFT display with Google Maps, ride modes and updated mechanical components. The N160 adds traction control and other riding aids, while the NS400Z gets a TFT display, USB Type-C port and hazard lights.
