Ampere Nexus is the most premium electric scooter from Greaves Electric Mobility. Designed and developed entirely in India, this scooter is meant to offer style, comfort, practicality, and reliability in one package.

• Ampere Nexus is the only electric scooter to win the Design Mark National Award. During our test rides, everything felt solid and stable. No weird panel gaps or loose parts. It's like someone actually cared while putting it together.

• We rode it through city streets, and the scooter’s look was attracting many people. The Zanskar Aqua colour really shines, especially under sunlight. This electric scooter is inspired by the Arctic Tern, which makes it super eye-catching.
• The most attractive feature of the scooter is its bright diamond-cut headlamp. It looks really amazing and provides a premium feel. 
• The buttons are packed in close, so it takes a bit of getting used to at first. But once you do, they feel responsive and clicky in a good way.

• The Ampere Nexus electric scooter comes with a 7” screen that adjusts to day and night automatically, just like the iPhone. This instrument cluster shows everything, including battery, speed, range, and even pairs with your phone.

• During the test ride, we charged it with a regular plug in just 4 hours. However, sometimes the scooter takes around 5 minutes to start after charging. We suggest you read the user manual for a better understanding. 

• The frame is made from aircraft-grade steel. We even saw it tow a 2000kg pickup truck during a test event.
• This scooter has covered over a million kilometres in testing, undergone 35+ checks, and passed ARAI validation. Feels great knowing it’s this reliable.
• We were blown away to learn it went from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, over 10,000 km. Overall, it's one of the best-looking and reliable electric scooters in India. 

• The 3kWh LFP battery on the Nexus feels super reliable. It gives the best performance even during hot summer rides or chilly early morning commutes.

• Ampere claims a top speed of 93 kmph for the Nexus, and during our city testing, we comfortably cruised at around 72 kmph without any vibrations. While we didn’t push it to the limit due to traffic and safety considerations, it clearly has the potential to reach the claimed top speed with ease on open roads.
• We rode it through scorching heat and sudden downpours, and it held up perfectly. This is because the scooter is tested by the company from - 40 °C to 60°C, which is very impressive. 

• We comfortably got around 100km on a full charge during our rides. This makes the Ampere Nexus ideal for everyone, including housewives running quick errands, office commuters, college students, or even those spontaneous weekend chai rides. It’s practical, efficient, and fits right into your daily routine without range anxiety.
• The battery pack comes with a smart safety system that protects against overheating, voltage issues, or short circuits. This makes it great for city rides where conditions change quickly.

• We found the ride really smooth on city roads. The scooter glided over small bumps without much fuss.
• Due to its strong 4X frame and twin suspension, the scooter felt stable even on uneven patches or broken roads.

• The long 850mm seat felt spacious and comfortable throughout our ride. Furthermore, the Nexus boasts a 200kg payload capacity. During our test ride, the combined weight of the rider and pillion was around 165kg, and the scooter handled it effortlessly without feeling heavy or strained. 
• With a pillion, the suspension felt even softer. It handles speed breakers and rough patches like a proper family scooter.
• If you're taller than six feet, the handlebars might brush your knees during tight U-turns. However, riders upto 5.8 feet can manage it comfortably. 

• The 4kW motor gave us smooth power delivery while riding through daily traffic.
• In Eco and Comfort mode, it felt a bit slow while overtaking autos and buses, but switching to Power mode gave that instant, zippy push we needed.
• The suspension did a good job of covering regular city potholes. But at higher speeds, hitting a bump did send a slight jolt through the handlebars.

• The regenerative braking felt natural, especially when slowing down gradually at traffic lights. It helped the scooter feel under control.
• During a quick stop near a zebra crossing, the combi-brake system worked well, though we had to pull the levers firmly for full effect.
• Stopping from 60kmph took around 22 meters in our test, not class-leading, but still safe and confidence-inspiring for everyday use.

• There are over 500 Ampere Care touchpoints across India, so help and maintenance are never too far away. Moreover, the company plans to expand further in the coming months. 

• We felt reassured knowing there’s 24x7 roadside assistance and support. It’s comforting, especially if you’re planning a solo ride or late-night commutes.

• The scooter handled Gujarat’s scorching heat and Manali’s cold without issues. It means this Ampere scooter is tried and tested in extreme Indian weather. 

• With more than 1 million km tested across real Indian roads, this scooter’s been through it all, including bumps, heat, slopes, and traffic.
