It was the historic year 1984 in the history of the automobile sector when Hero group of India and Honda Motor Company of Japan signed a joint venture. The experiment proved successful and set records after records and crossed many milestones. Hero-Honda company became the world’s best seller company in the automobile sector. The first product of Hero Honda was Hero Honda CD 100 in 1985 and their story of 100 million milestone started with the launch of this product. The first Hero Honda scooter was launched in 2005. The name of the model was Hero Honda pleasure.

The biggest joint venture of the world in the automobile industry, which produced the maximum number of products, came to an end on the 16th day of December 2010. Both the companies had their different plans. The honda company sold 26% shares to Munjal family and provided technical support to Hero group till 2014. After that, it was a completely undisputed dissolution.

The name of the company changed to Hero Motocorp in 2011. The first two Hero scooty was launched by Hero Motocorp on 29th day of September 2015.

• Hero Maestro edge
• Hero Duet

In February 2016, Hero Motocorp showcased an electric scooter in Auto expo held at New Delhi. The name of the first electric Hero Scooter was Duet E.

This Hero scooter model comes with three variants. This model lies in the bottom of hero scooty price list with a price range of Rs. 70,590 up to Rs. 82,290. This Hero scooter comes with 124.6cc engine and it gives a mileage of 45 Kmpl. Its top speed is 85 km/hr.

• Hero Maestro Edge 110

This Hero scooter model comes with five variants. It has a price range of Rs. 70,639 up to 76,137. This Hero scooter comes with 110.9cc engine and it gives a mileage of 45 Kmpl. Its top speed is 80 km/hr.

• Hero Maestro Edge 125

This Hero scooty model gives the highest mileage among all scooty of Hero company. It comes with four variants. It has a price range of Rs. 77,196 up to Rs. 86,066. This Hero scooter comes with 124.66cc engine and it gives a mileage of 65 Kmpl. Its top speed is 90 km/hr.
