Hero has equipped this bike with a 163.2cc, air/oil-cooled, four-valve engine. It produces 16.9 PS of power and 14.6 Nm of torque. That means you get a good punch of power at lower revs. It feels quick in the city and decent enough for highway stretches as well. 

Moreover, the engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox with a multi-plate wet clutch and constant mesh transmission. It feels smooth and refined in most riding conditions.
