The BGauss C12 MaxR is a large electric scooter that feels more settled when the road opens up beyond crowded streets. Its 3.8 kWh LFP battery gives the scooter enough claimed range to handle routes where charging points are not always easy to find. The 4.2 kW motor builds speed smoothly when a slower vehicle leaves a gap for an overtake. Moreover, its 160 mm ground clearance helps when the road suddenly changes from smooth to broken surfaces.

• I noticed the broad body while shifting my weight through a long bend with a pillion. It kept the scooter feeling planted when the pillion moved slightly behind me. The extra width also made the body feel more settled through the turn.
• The Krystal Lamp gives the front a distinctive look, while its LED beam helps pick out uneven road sections when street lighting becomes inconsistent.
• Its wide seat gives enough room to shift position without moving too close to the edge. With a pillion onboard, I could adjust my position without disturbing the rider behind.

• Limp home mode provides limited assistance when the battery level becomes very low. This can be useful when the remaining charge is not enough for normal riding.
• The 5 inch TFT display keeps key riding information easy to read at a glance. During a ride, I could check the range and riding mode without taking much attention away from the road.
• Reverse mode helped when I had to move the scooter back after stopping close to a tight edge. The controlled movement made it easier to correct the scooter’s position without repeatedly getting off.

The BGauss C12 MaxR EV left me with a clear impression of a scooter built around space and easy riding. Its motor delivers smooth acceleration, while the suspension keeps the scooter composed when the road surface changes. The large storage area is another strong point when carrying more items on a ride. I also liked having features such as reverse mode & the TFT display. For riders who want a spacious scooter with a relaxed riding feel, the C12 MaxR two wheeler makes sense.
