The Jawa 42 FJ was launched in India on 9th September 2026. This bike combines classic styling with modern features. It has a 1 Down 5 Up speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch, which helps with smooth gear changes. 

Riders can also use a fully digital instrument cluster that displays riding information, such as speed, fuel level, and much more. Various attractive colours are available that give a great look to this newly launched bike. The Jawa 42 FJ Colours are:

Jawa 42 FJ Engine & Performance 

A 334 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine powers the Jawa 42 FJ. It produces 28.77 bhp @ 7500 rpm power and 29.62 Nm @ 6000 rpm torque. The bike’s engine uses electronic fuel injection & a 1 Down 5 Up speed constant mesh gearbox.

The Jawa 42 FJ mileage is 32 kmpl, which is suitable for regular city rides and longer journeys. Also, the 12 litres fuel tank gives enough capacity for fewer fuel stops during extended rides. 

Jawa 42 FJ Features

It provides a fully digital instrument cluster that allows riders to track details like gear position, speed, fuel level, and time. Its clear layout helps riders check essential information without taking much attention from the road. This makes it useful during both daily commuting and longer rides. 

Disc brakes are fitted at both ends with dual channel ABS. The front brake uses a 320 mm disc, while the rear gets a 240 mm disc. The benefit of ABS is to reduce wheel lock during sudden braking. It gives better control when a rider suddenly stops the bike on a busy road. 

The Bike’s rear suspension uses twin shock absorbers with 5 step adjustable preload. It will help in managing bumps and uneven road surfaces. In the preload adjustment, riders are free to set the suspension according to the load and riding conditions. This enables maintaining a balanced ride when carrying a pillion. 

This Cruiser bike gets a 100/90 18 front tyre and a 140/70 17 rear tyre. The wider rear tyre provides a broad contact patch for road grip. This setup also supports stability while cornering and riding at higher speeds.
