The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is one of the most legendary motorcycles in India. It's been around for over 90 years and continues to carry that old-school charm. Although Royal Enfield has introduced modern models like the Guerrilla and Hunter, the Bullet remains close to the hearts of many riders.

For 2023, Royal Enfield has updated the Bullet 350 with a new platform, better features, and improved comfort. Yet, it still feels like a proper Bullet. What’s great is that the bike still holds onto its retro looks and characterful thump.

• The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 still carries its legendary design, including the round headlamp, clean fuel tank, and classic side panels, which immediately take you back in time. Riding it feels like you're part of motorcycling history.

• At the back, the slightly squared-off fender brings a subtle but noticeable freshness to its timeless silhouette. It’s a small update, but it adds character when viewed from behind.
• While riding, you’ll appreciate the hand-painted pinstripes on the tank. These are present in all variants except the base models, and they add a touch of elegance and craftsmanship you can actually see up close.

• If you pick the Black Gold variant, the all-black finish really sets the mood. With the engine, wheels, and exhaust all blacked out, it feels bolder and more aggressive to ride like a modern classic with attitude.

• On the other hand, the base Military Red and Military Black variants bring out the vintage charm. The chrome touches on the engine and exhaust deliver that old-school Bullet vibe that traditionalists love.
• Even the tail lamp and turn indicators have been updated. They look more refined and contemporary, yet somehow manage to keep that retro charm intact while you ride through town or park it next to other modern bikes.

• The 349cc engine feels strong and smooth, perfect for relaxed city rides and occasional highway runs.

• During the rides, the motorcycle offered just the right amount of punch for daily riding comfort. It delivers 20.2 bhp of power and a torque of 27 Nm. 
• The 5-speed gearbox shifts smoothly; we barely noticed any lag while changing gears.
• What we really liked is the strong low-end torque, it pulls easily even at low speeds in higher gears.
• Riding at 80-90 kmph feels calm and smooth, with barely any engine vibration under the tank or handlebars

• The clutch action is light, and the gears slot in cleanly, which makes traffic riding much easier.
• We got close to 33 kmpl in the city, which is pretty decent for this kind of bike.
• The sweet spot for cruising is definitely 70-80 kmph; it’s smooth, stress-free, and feels just right.

• The 41mm front forks and dual rear shock absorbers soak up bumps really well.
• We were impressed by how smooth the ride felt, even when we went over potholes and broken tarmac.
• The bike features large 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, which helped it glide smoothly over potholes and road imperfections during my test ride.

• The hazard light switch came in handy during sudden stops in traffic and added an extra layer of safety in low-visibility conditions.

• On the dual-channel ABS variant we tested, the braking felt reassuring and confident, especially during quick stops or rainy road conditions.
• We also tried the base variant briefly, and while the single-channel ABS works fine, the rear drum brake didn’t feel as strong or responsive.

• The 300mm front disc brake gave me solid stopping power, and it felt quite responsive during sudden halts.

• At the rear, the 270mm disc worked well, though the drum setup on the base variant lacked the same level of bite.
