Honda Rebel 500

The Honda Rebel 500 is a stylish and modern cruiser bike. This bike is made for riders who most often go on long tours. Because it comes with a low-slung seat, which offers a relaxed riding posture to the riders. Hence, it is one of the comfortable bikes in India. 

The Rebel 500 was launched in India on May 19, 2025. It is sold under Honda’s premium BigWing lineup and comes in the middleweight cruiser segment. The Honda Rebel 500 colour option is Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic for its single variant. 

It gets a minimalist and muscular design with blacked-out trim, round LED headlamp, chopped fenders, and a peanut-shaped fuel tank. The Rebel 500 competes with bikes like the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Kawasaki Vulcan S, Classic 650, and Benelli 502C in India.

The Honda Rebel 500 price in India is around Rs. 5.49 Lakh (ex-showroom). However, the on-road price will be higher due to RTO charges, insurance, and taxes, which vary from city to city. 

Honda Rebel 500 Engine

For powering the Rebel 500, there is a strong and reliable 471cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 45.5 bhp @ 8500 rpm and 43.3 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch for smooth gear shifting.

 The powertrain is improved for relaxed cruising and city comfort, but it also has enough power for open highways. With a smooth throttle response and a powerful engine, the Honda Rebel 500 can hit a top speed of 153 kmph.

The Honda Rebel 500 mileage is around 26 kmpl. This mileage is quite decent, making it one of the fuel-efficient bikes in the 500cc category. The motorcycle comes with a 11.2-litre fuel tank, offering enough riding range on a full tank.
