• The engine lacks bottom-end torque, especially in heavy traffic situations. You often need to keep the revs high to avoid knocking in city use.
• The bike reaches around 140kmph but takes time after 120kmph. Apart from this, there are mild vibrations that appear at 80kmph and increase slightly near the top-end.
• During the test ride, we got a real-world mileage of around 26 kmpl. With a tank capacity of 13.2 litres, you can get a riding range of 340 Km+.

• The low 750mm seat height makes the Perak friendly for short riders. The handlebars are also easy to reach and give a relaxed upper-body posture.
• The mid-set footpegs feel cramped for taller riders during long rides.
• The telescopic front fork manages small bumps comfortably at lower speeds. Besides, the rear monoshock has firm travel and transfers shocks on rough roads.
• The 1485mm wheelbase helps the bike stay planted at high speeds. It leans confidently into corners and maintains a stable exit line.
• The Ceat Zoom tyres offer dependable grip in city and highway use.

• Jawa Perak’s ground clearance stays decent at 145mm, but the exhaust can scrape on tall bumps.

• It comes with a 280mm front disc and 240mm rear disc for dependable stopping. Moreover, the dual-channel ABS engages early and feels intrusive during hard braking moments.
• The motorcycle feels light at 175kg, but tricky to push without a grabrail.

• The Perak uses an analogue speedometer with a small digital odometer screen.
