The fuel tank capacity of the TVS RTR 310 is 11 litres. Though it is not very big, it is sufficient for daily commuting.

TVS Apache RTR 310 Specifications

The Apache RTR 310 is NOT all about power and looks, but this bike also features sturdy hardware components. The bike features high-quality upside-down front forks and monoshock rear suspension. This setup provides a smooth and stable ride, be it on city roads or tight corners.

The Apache RTR 310 seat height is 800 mm, and this makes it comfortable and provides a good racing stance. Overall, it is well-padded and designed to reduce fatigue on longer journeys.

In terms of handling, the RTR 310 weight is roughly 169 kg (kerb), which promotes improved handling and faster movement within traffic. It also provides the bike with a light and agile feel, which riders appreciate while commuting daily or making spirited weekend runs.

TVS Apache RTR 310 Features

The TVS Apache RTR 310 has modern features that interest you while riding. The prime highlight is the 5-inch TFT instrument console. This touchscreen display puts you in command of your bike. You can even pair your Bluetooth device and manage your calls/SMS from the screen itself.

TVS Apache RTR 310 Expert Opinion

“The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 310 feels like a well-rounded streetfighter. The vibrations are there at higher speeds, and the firm pillion seat could bother some riders. But overall, it’s fun in the city, exciting on twisty roads, and packed with tech that makes it feel premium. It’s a solid choice for riders wanting everyday practicality with weekend thrills.”

5/5

Every time a motorcycle brand listens to riders and makes changes, it’s a big win. That’s exactly what TVS has done with the updated Apache RTR 310 for 2025. We got the chance to ride this bike out on public roads, and honestly, it left us impressed. TVS has clearly taken that feedback seriously, and this new version feels like a step forward in many ways.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Overview

The RTR 310 sits in a very interesting space. It’s not a full-blown track machine like the Apache RR 310, and it’s not a simple commuter either. Instead, it’s a streetfighter that can take on city rides with ease, while still being exciting enough on weekend rides too. And that, in our opinion, makes it a very versatile option in the 300–400cc space.

Now, let’s break down the experience into simple points so you can understand what works, what feels new, and where TVS still has some work to do.

4/5

  • The design of the RTR 310 is one of those things that immediately divides opinion. When we parked it at the track, some riders loved the big LED headlamp and the sharp lines, while a couple of them thought the headlight looked a bit bulky.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Headlight

  • Personally, we like the aggressive, streetfighter stance. It has that angry, ready-to-pounce look which many riders want from a naked bike.
  • The little touches are what make this bike feel premium. The transparent clutch cover is a cool addition, the new handguards feel sturdy and useful, and the sequential indicators add a modern vibe.
  • When we stood next to the bike, the paint finish and the way every cable and panel had been put together gave us the impression of a motorcycle built with care.
  • We rode the Sepang Blue variant at the track, and under the sun, it really stood out. On the road, it grabbed attention quickly.
  • If you like subtle, Arsenal Black might suit you better, but we’d still say the Sepang Blue looks the sportiest.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Tail light

4.5/5

  • TVS has thrown almost every feature possible into this bike. When we were going through the TFT screen, we nearly felt like we were using a smartphone.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Digital Display

  • It has navigation, ride data, music controls, and even document storage. Out on the road, the screen is bright and clear, and the themes change depending on the mode you select.
  • There are multiple riding modes, including Urban, Rain, Sport, Track, and even a Supermoto mode where you can switch off ABS at the rear.
  • On the track, we spent most of our time in Track mode, and the bike felt sharp and responsive. On the streets, we switched to Urban mode, and the throttle calmed down just enough to make the ride relaxed.
  • One feature we really enjoyed was the bi-directional quickshifter. On the track, we did notice it missed a downshift once, but otherwise it worked really well.
  • Launch control is another cool addition. We tried it a couple of times, rev it, dump the clutch, and the bike takes off cleanly without much drama. It’s not something you’ll use daily on the road, but it’s great to have.
  • Cruise control with cornering adjustment is a neat touch, too. On the highway, we set the cruise control at 90 kmph, and the bike adjusted its speed smoothly through gentle curves.

5/5

  • The RTR 310 uses the same 312.12cc engine as the RR 310.
  • Out on the track, when we twisted the throttle in Sport mode, the bike surged forward eagerly, and we could feel the midrange punch.
  • It pulls cleanly from lower revs, so in the city you don’t need to downshift constantly. It’s happy rolling in higher gears at slower speeds.
  • TVS has worked hard on the refinement. In the earlier version, we remember the bike feeling buzzy even at idle. This time, when we fired it up in the pits, it felt calmer.
  • Vibrations are well controlled, but above 100–110 kmph, a buzz can still be felt on the tank and bars.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Fuel Tank

  • The shorter gearing makes city riding a lot of fun. We found ourselves getting off the line quickly at signals, leaving cars behind with ease. But on highways, because of that gearing, the bike sits at higher revs at 100 kmph and feels a little busy.
  • The gearbox is slick, and along with the slipper clutch, it makes downshifts smooth even when you’re braking hard into corners.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - slipper clutch

4.5/5

  • The handling is one of the bike’s biggest strengths. During our test ride, the front end felt planted and predictable in fast corners.
  • The wide handlebar gives good leverage, which makes direction changes quick and easy.
  • Out on twisty roads, the Michelin Road 5 tyres stood out with excellent grip. They felt confident in both dry and slightly damp conditions.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Tyre

  • Even when we leaned hard and scraped the footpeg, the bike held its line firmly.
  • Moreover, the bike braking performance is strong and stable overall. The front lever has a little play before the bite kicks in. During an emergency stop for a stray dog, ABS worked flawlessly.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Gear Shift Lever

  • The suspension is tuned for both sporty and city riding. It feels composed on smooth roads and highways. On broken patches, the rear feels slightly firm but still manageable.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Suspension

5/5

  • The upright riding position is comfortable for long hours. The handlebars are high enough to keep your back straight.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Handlebar

  • Footpegs are slightly forward, which makes daily commuting easier.
  • The 800 mm seat height is friendly for shorter riders. At around 5’6”, riders can still get both feet on the ground.
  • The pillion seat is small and placed high. It works fine for short city rides but feels uncomfortable on longer trips.

TVS Apache RTR 310 - Seat

  • At 169 kg, the bike feels light and easy to handle. In city traffic, weaving through gaps feels effortless.
  • Moving or parking the bike manually is simple compared to heavier bikes.

4/5

The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 310 feels more mature and refined than before. TVS improved key areas based on rider feedback without changing the bike completely. Vibrations are still present at higher speeds, but overall refinement has improved noticeably.

In the city and on weekend rides, the bike feels lively and enjoyable. It sits between rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z and KTM Duke 390. The RTR 310 offers sharp styling, a premium feel, and a long list of features. This bike is a strong choice for everyday practicality with weekend excitement.
