Jawa Motorcycles has reduced the prices of its popular bikes after the government decided to cut down the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on motorcycles under 350cc. Earlier, these bikes were taxed at 28%. Now, with the GST rate lowered to 18%, customers will have to spend less to buy their favourite Jawa bikes.
This price change comes at a good time, as the festive season is about to begin. This may encourage more buyers to step into showrooms and bring home a new motorcycle.

The price cut has been applied to key Jawa models, including the Jawa 42, Jawa 350, 42 Bobber, and Perak.
In fact, all these bikes have become cheaper by more than Rs 16,000 each. For many buyers, this reduction can make a big difference while deciding which motorcycle to purchase.
All Jawa motorcycles are equipped with the company’s liquid-cooled Alpha2 engines. There are two versions of this engine. The 293cc engine produces 27bhp of power and 27.05Nm of torque, while the 334cc engine delivers 29bhp of power and 30Nm of torque.
These figures show that Jawa bikes not only look stylish but also offer strong performance. In addition, with the revised prices, customers are getting the same power-packed performance at a lower cost.
Apart from reducing prices, Jawa’s parent company, Classic Legends, is also focusing on customer assurance. All models now come with a 4-year or 50,000 km standard warranty. In addition, customers can also choose to extend this coverage for up to six years. To make ownership even smoother, Jawa is offering one year of roadside assistance.
