New Delhi, October 15, 2026: BSA Motorcycles has expanded its Gold Star 650 range for the festive season with two new editions. The award-winning motorcycle, which MCN named ‘Best Retro Bike’, now gets fresh colours, exclusive finishes and premium details. These editions also celebrate important milestones in BSA's history and the brand's return to the Indian motorcycle market.

The Brooklands Black Legacy Edition celebrates the historic Brooklands racing circuit in Britain, where the Gold Star story began. In 1937, BSA rider Wal Handley achieved a record-breaking performance at the circuit and earned the Gold Star badge. This achievement later inspired the motorcycle's famous name.
The new edition features a deep black finish with gold pinstripes across its chrome-finished fenders and chrome accents on the fuel tank. In addition, a quilted seat and premium detailing give it a distinctive appearance.

The Birmingham Blue Edition pays tribute to Birmingham, the city where BSA began as Birmingham Small Arms. The city has remained an important part of the brand's identity as its motorcycles reached riders around the world.
This edition features a rich blue paint scheme, an exclusive patinated silver side-panel badge and a special engine finish. Moreover, it combines these fresh details with the classic design that has defined the Gold Star for generations.
Both new editions use the same 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 45 hp of power and 55 Nm of torque, delivering the distinctive performance of a large single-cylinder motorcycle.
The Gold Star 650 also features Brembo brakes, dual-channel ABS and wire-spoke wheels. These components support its classic retro-roadster design while providing modern braking equipment.

From its authentic British design to the distinctive experience of its big-single engine, every element reflects the craftsmanship, engineering and attention to detail that have defined the Gold Star for generations. The Brooklands Black Legacy Edition honours the moment when the Gold Star earned its legendary name, while Birmingham Blue offers a contemporary expression of the Gold Star, reinterpreting its iconic DNA for today's rider. Together, they represent two distinct chapters of the Gold Star story, united by the heritage and individuality that remain central to BSA."
