TVS RTR 125 LC Unveiled at EICMA 2026: Check Engine, Features & Specs

TVS Motor Company has unveiled the production-ready TVS RTR 125 LC at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. The new 125cc motorcycle comes with a sporty streetfighter design and features aimed at everyday riding. The company has developed it for riders who want a performance-focused motorcycle for daily commutes as well as weekend rides. In addition, the bike targets A1 licence holders in the European market.

The TVS RTR 125 LC gets a liquid-cooled engine, a six-speed gearbox, ride modes and dual-channel ABS. Moreover, it features a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, full-screen map mirroring and turn-by-turn navigation.

The TVS RTR 125 LC features an aggressive hyper-naked streetfighter design. Its tank shoulder-blade styling, sharp body panels and mass-forward stance give it a sporty look. In addition, the exposed trellis frame adds to its overall design.

At the front, the TVS motorcycle gets a rectangular LED projector headlamp with a distinctive DRL. The rear features a tri-split LED tail lamp, while LED turn indicators complete the lighting setup. Overall, its design gives the bike a sporty appearance suited to young riders.

5-Inch TFT Display and Connectivity Features

The new TVS RTR 125 LC gets a 13 cm (5-inch) TFT display with multiway Bluetooth connectivity. It supports full-screen map mirroring and turn-by-turn navigation, allowing riders to follow routes while riding. Furthermore, the display brings useful riding information within easy reach.

The 125cc motorcycle also gets a hazard lamp for added convenience. These features make it easier for riders to use navigation and stay connected during everyday journeys.

TVS RTR 125 LC Engine and Gearbox

The TVS RTR 125 LC draws power from a 125cc, liquid cooled, four valve DOHC engine. It produces 11 kW (14.9 PS) at 9,000 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine aims to offer an engaging riding experience for city commutes and weekend trips.

It comes paired with a six-speed gearbox and a multiplate full assist and slipper clutch. In addition, ride modes allow riders to adjust the motorcycle's response according to different riding conditions. The slipper clutch also supports controlled downshifts.

Suspension, Chassis and Braking Setup

TVS has equipped the RTR 125 LC with a Synchro Stiff chassis featuring a trellis frame and cast swingarm. The suspension setup includes a 41 mm KYB USD front fork and an adjustable rear monoshock. This combination aims to offer agile handling on city roads and winding routes.

For braking, the motorcycle gets a 300 mm front disc with a radially mounted Bybre caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a Bybre caliper. Moreover, dual-channel ABS and ride modes help riders maintain control in changing road conditions.

TVS RTR 125 LC: Key Specifications

The TVS RTR 125 LC also features alloy wheels with a 100/80-17 front tyre and a 140/70-R17 rear tyre. Its combination of a liquid-cooled engine, modern display, ride modes and streetfighter styling makes it an interesting addition to the company's European line-up.

TVS Motor Company has shared pre-homologation specifications for the motorcycle. Therefore, final figures may change after homologation.

TVS RTR 125 LC India Launch: What to Expect?

TVS Motor Company has not yet announced any India launch plans for the RTR 125 LC. The motorcycle made its debut in full European specification at EICMA 2026 and targets A1 licence holders in the European market. However, its sporty streetfighter design, 125cc liquid-cooled engine, ride modes and 5-inch TFT display make it an interesting model to watch. If TVS considers bringing it to India, the company may need to assess its positioning in the country's 125cc motorcycle segment. For now, Indian buyers will have to wait for an official announcement from the brand.
