Bajaj Auto is working on a brand-new adventure motorcycle that could target both Indian and international markets. The upcoming bike has already been spotted testing on Indian roads, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of its rugged design and adventure-focused setup. Now, fresh details suggest that the motorcycle could use a 250cc engine for the Indian market.
The new motorcycle is expected to feature a tall stance, long-travel suspension, and dual-sport styling. As a result, it could appeal to riders looking for a motorcycle that handles city roads as well as light off-road trails.

According to reports, Bajaj has primarily developed this motorcycle for Latin American markets. The region has a strong demand for entry-level adventure and dual-sport motorcycles such as the Yamaha WR155R, Honda CRF150L, and Suzuki DR150.
Therefore, Bajaj appears keen to enter this segment with a purpose-built adventure bike. In addition, the company could offer different engine options depending on the market.

For international markets, Bajaj may offer the motorcycle with multiple engine options ranging from 160cc to 250cc. However, the India-spec version is likely to feature a 250cc engine.
Industry sources suggest that Bajaj could use the familiar 249cc air/oil-cooled engine from the Pulsar N250. This engine already powers one of the brand's popular motorcycles and offers a balance of performance and efficiency. Among adventure-focused Bajaj Bikes, this new model could become an attractive option for riders seeking affordability and versatility.
In India, the upcoming Bajaj adventure motorcycle is expected to compete with the Hero Xpulse 210 and Kawasaki KLX 230. Spy images show a high ground clearance, long-travel suspension, and an upright riding position.
However, sources indicate that Bajaj may not position it as a hardcore off-road motorcycle. Instead, the company could focus on creating a practical adventure bike suitable for daily rides and weekend touring.
Bajaj has not revealed an official launch timeline yet. However, the test motorcycles already running on public roads suggest that development is in its final stages.
Perhaps the bike will debut first in Latin American markets before arriving in India. If everything goes as expected, Indian buyers could see the new Bajaj adventure motorcycle reach showrooms early next year.
