August 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for bike and scooter lovers across India. Several two-wheeler brands are preparing to unveil new and updated models in different segments.

From electric scooters to cafe-racers and adventure bikes, manufacturers are bringing something for every type of rider. Some launches have already been confirmed with official dates, while others are expected soon based on sightings and reports. Here is a detailed look at what to expect this August.

Suzuki e-Access Likely to Launch Soon

Suzuki is expected to launch the e-Access in August. This scooter was first seen at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The electric scooter will feature a 4.1kW motor along with a 3.07 kWh battery pack.

Suzuki e-Access will have a range of 95 km per charge and a top speed of 71 km/h have been announced. Once launched, the e-Access will go up against the Honda Activa QC-1 and the Bajaj Chetak 3001.

2025 Oben Rorr EZ to Launch on August 5

2025 Oben Rorr EZ 
Oben Electric will launch the 2025 version of the Rorr EZ on August 5. This updated e-bike will receive new features and slight design changes.

Two battery options will be available, 2.6kWh and 4.4kWh, & the bike will have a range of 175km respectively. Both use a 7.5kW motor, with a top speed of 95kmph.

Bajaj Avenger 220 Street Might Return

Bajaj Avenger 220 Street 
Bajaj had removed the Avenger 220 Street from its official website last month. However, leaked documents confirm its return with an OBD-2B update. The new version will keep the same 220cc air and oil-cooled engine.

Apart from emission changes, the rest of the bike is likely to stay the same. The new model may cost slightly less than the Avenger 220 Cruise.

Yezdi Roadster & Scrambler Expected on August 12

Yezdi Roadster and Scrambler 
Yezdi is preparing to launch updated versions of the Roadster and Scrambler by mid-August. Recent spyshots show small design updates, with the Scrambler now having a single-sided exhaust. The bikes are also expected to receive features like switchable traction control, borrowed from the Yezdi Adventure.

Triumph Thruxton 400 Launch Confirmed

Triumph India has confirmed that the Thruxton 400 will launch on August 6. The bike will carry a price of around Rs 2.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Based on the Speed 400 platform, this cafe racer will feature a semi-fairing and new fuel filler cap. The Thruxton 400 will be the most affordable cafe racer motorcycle in the country after launch.

TVS RTX 300 Launch Expected Soon

TVS RTX 300 
TVS is readying the launch of its new adventure motorcycle, the RTX 300. The bike comes with a tall visor, block-pattern tyres, and a 19-inch front wheel.

It will be powered by the RT-XD4 engine, making 35PS and 28.5Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Expected pricing is around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 401 Spotted

Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 401

Husqvarna’s Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 401 have reached dealerships ahead of launch. The Svartpilen 401 will offer alloy wheels and spoke wheel options.

Meanwhile, the Vitpilen 250 will now feature a 5-inch TFT console instead of an LCD display. Both bikes are expected to launch by mid or late August.

Harley-Davidson Models May Launch This Month

Harley-Davidson may launch three new motorcycles this month; the Street Bob, CVO Street Glide, and CVO Road Glide.

The Street Bob will replace the discontinued Fat Bob, while the CVO models are expected to be priced above Rs. 50 lakh. Launch dates are yet to be confirmed but are likely this August.
