Bi-Weekly 2-Wheeler Roundup: New Launches & Updates From 6 Brands

The Indian two-wheeler market saw several important launches and updates this week. Triumph updated its Daytona 660, while Honda expanded its motorcycle range with the new CB500 and refreshed CB350 series.

Royal Enfield added a new colour to the Classic 350, while Honda also introduced the QC3 electric scooter. Bajaj is preparing a new TFT-equipped Pulsar NS400Z, and BMW has confirmed an upcoming roadster reveal.

2026 Triumph Daytona 660 Gets New Hardware Updates

Triumph has launched the 2026 Daytona 660 in India at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated motorcycle costs Rs. 11,000 more than the outgoing model.

The biggest change is a 41mm Showa USD fork with compression and rebound adjustment. The bike also gets a bidirectional quickshifter as standard, while the previous model offered it as an optional accessory.

The Daytona 660 now rides on Metzeler M9RR tyres and gets three new colour options. It continues with the 660cc three-cylinder engine, producing 95 PS and 68 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gets a White Finish

Royal Enfield has added a new Signature White colour to the Classic 350 range at Rs. 2,23,275 (ex-showroom). The new shade joins the existing colour options and sits at the top of the Classic 350 price range.

The new finish combines white body panels with black components, dark pinstriping and a brown seat. The motorcycle also gets wire-spoke wheels and chrome elements on the exhaust, mirrors and engine covers.

There are no mechanical changes with this update. The Classic 350 continues with its 349cc single-cylinder engine, producing 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm, with a five-speed gearbox and assist-and-slipper clutch.

Honda CB500 Expands the Brand's Retro Range

Honda has launched the new CB500 in India at a starting price of Rs. 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The retro roadster is available in three variants, with prices going up to Rs. 3.02 lakh.

The motorcycle gets a 501cc single-cylinder air-oil-cooled engine. Honda has not yet disclosed its power and torque figures. The Honda CB500 features a round LED headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, single-piece seat and twin rear shock absorbers.

Buyers can choose between alloy and spoke-wheel versions. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard, while bookings are now open in India.

Honda Updates the CB350 Family With New Styling

Honda has launched updated versions of the CB350, CB350RS and CB350C in India. Prices start at Rs. 1,95,200 and go up to Rs. 2,04,700 (ex-showroom).

The three motorcycles are now available across eight variants and get new colour options along with styling changes. Bookings have also opened through Honda BigWing dealerships.

The mechanical package remains unchanged. All three motorcycles continue with the 348.36cc single-cylinder engine and get features such as Honda RoadSync connectivity, assist-and-slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, HSTC and LED lighting.

Honda QC3 Enters the Electric Scooter Segment

Honda has launched the new QC3 electric scooter in India at Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is initially available through select Honda RedWing dealerships in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam.

The Honda QC3 uses a 3kWh battery pack with a claimed 145 km IDC range. Honda says the battery takes around 2 hours and 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%, while a full charge takes approximately four hours.

The scooter gets a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and music controls. It also offers 32-litre under-seat storage, a Smart Key and 12-inch alloy wheels.

Pulsar NS400Z Spotted With New TFT Console

A new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z with a TFT display has reached dealerships ahead of its official launch. Bajaj has not yet announced the launch date or price of this updated version.

The key addition is a 5-inch colour TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It supports features such as Google Maps mirroring, turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, call alerts and smartphone notifications.

The motorcycle continues with the 349cc engine introduced with the recent update. The rest of the mechanical package remains largely unchanged, making the new TFT console the main attraction of this upcoming variant.

BMW Teases a New Roadster Ahead of October Reveal

BMW Motorrad has teased a new motorcycle scheduled to be revealed on October 1, 2026, in India. The upcoming model is expected to be the F 450 R roadster, although BMW has not officially confirmed its name yet.

The reveal is scheduled for 5:30 PM IST. The motorcycle is expected to share its platform with the F 450 GS, which uses a 420cc twin-cylinder engine producing 48 hp and 43 Nm.

BMW could position the new roadster below the F 450 GS in its Indian range. It may also fill the space left by the discontinued G 310 R. More details will be announced during the October 1 reveal.

Kinetic Engineering Plans Fresh Investment in EV Business

Kinetic Engineering has announced an additional investment of around Rs. 57 crore for business expansion and growth. Around Rs. 17 crore will go towards capital expenditure, while Rs. 40 crore will be invested in expanding its electric two-wheeler business.

The company has also secured driveline export orders worth around Rs. 500 crore over seven years for markets including Europe and Mexico. The investment will support manufacturing capacity and the company's electric mobility operations.

Kinetic has signed letters of intent with more than 150 dealers, with over 60 already operational. Its EV expansion is centred around the DX and DX+ electric scooters, while the company is targeting a position among India's top 10 electric two-wheeler brands.
