Honda QC3 Launched In India with 145 Km Range: Price and Key Features

Honda has launched the Honda QC3 electric scooter in India, with the new model initially available in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam. The scooter is aimed at families and urban riders, with a focus on range, practicality and connected features. 

Honda is targeting families and urban riders with a 145 km IDC range and practical storage. Bookings are now open for Rs. 5,000 at select Honda RedWing dealerships. The QC3 combines connected features, convenient charging and a family focused design.

Honda QC3 Price And Availability

The Honda QC3 is priced at Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). It will initially be sold through select Honda RedWing dealerships in five cities.

Buyers can book the electric scooter for Rs. 5,000 at their nearest eligible dealership. Honda has not shared details about availability in other cities yet.

The QC3 is offered in four triple tone colour options:

• Matt Photon Gray Metallic
• Pearl Precious White
• Pearl Shallow Blue
• Pearl Siren Blue

Honda QC3 Battery And Range

The Honda electric scooter uses a 3 kWh battery pack with a claimed 145 km certified IDC range. Honda says the battery can charge from 0 to 80% in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

A full charge takes approximately four hours. These figures could make the QC3 suitable for regular city commuting and family use.

Features And Practicality

The electric scooter gets a 5 inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity. It also supports turn by turn navigation, SMS and call alerts, and music controls.

For everyday use, the QC3 offers 32 litre underseat storage. It also gets a Smart Key and keyless ignition. The scooter rides on 12 inch alloy wheels at both ends. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers.

Braking hardware includes a front disc and rear drum with a Combined Braking System.

Honda QC3 Rivals

The QC3 enters a growing electric scooter segment with rivals such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ather Rizta. Its 3 kWh battery, 145 km IDC range and family focused practicality will be key considerations for buyers.

Overall, the QC3 focuses on everyday usability rather than a performance oriented setup. Its price, charging time, storage and range will matter most for urban buyers.
