Published at August 31, 2025 | By BikeJunction

Honda 2W sales in July 2025 showed strong demand with 4,66,331 units sold across India. This reflected a 6.20% year-on-year growth, compared to 4,39,118 units sold in July 2024. In addition, the brand reported good month-on-month progress as sales in June 2025 stood at 3,88,812 units.

Honda Activa Leads the Scooter Market

Honda Activa continued as the top-selling scooter in India. Sales grew 21.37% YoY, reaching 2,37,413 units in July 2025 against 1,95,604 units in July 2024. Moreover, Activa crossed the two lakh mark and now holds a 50.91% market share, higher than the 47.13% share in June 2025.

Mixed Results for Honda Motorcycles

Perhaps the motorcycles from Honda did not enjoy the same rise as the Activa. Shine 125 and SP 125 together saw sales dip by 1.37%, with 1,38,665 units sold. Unicorn too faced a 14.54% decline, with sales dropping to 30,572 units. However, Dio faced a larger fall, with sales sliding 16.49% YoY to 27,951 units.

In addition, the Shine 100 slipped with a 7.97% YoY decline, recording 20,993 units compared to 22,812 units last year. Livo sales also remained flat with a small 0.16% fall, reaching 3,664 units. SP160, on the other hand, suffered the hardest hit with a 58.74% YoY drop, selling only 2,234 units.

Honda CB350 Gains Big Momentum

Among motorcycles, the CB350 was the biggest winner. Sales more than doubled with a 104.95% YoY jump, reaching 2,027 units in July 2025 compared to 1,011 units last year. However, its sibling, the H’ness 350, faced a 10.96% fall, selling 1,170 units. Hornet 2.0 also dropped by 38.81%, with sales at 782 units, while CB200X registered a 12.50% decline with 476 units.

Big Bike Sales Report

In the premium segment, Honda QC1 stood at 207 units. CB500 had 41 units sold, and CBR650 registered 39 units. Furthermore, XL750 sales showed 22.22% growth, reaching 22 units compared to 18 units last year. Honda also recorded 16 unit sales for Activa e, 8 units for GL1800, and 6 units for CB1000.

Perhaps the only disappointing part was zero sales for the Honda Dream and CB300 series, which shows demand is currently limited in those models.
