In March 2026, the industry clocked in a total sales volume of 1,951,006 units, whereas in March 2025, the industry saw sales of 1,516,150 units. This resulted in a 28.68% growth in YoY growth. Moreover, a 14.73% growth in MoM sales is observed, as sales figures in February 2026 were 17,00,505 units.

Hero secured first place with 541,857 units sold in March 2026. This is an 24.11% incline from 436,598 units sold in March 2025. This translates to a market share decline of 3.55%.
Honda is the second top-selling two-wheeler manufacturer in March 2026 with total retail sales of 475,313 units. This marks a slight increase of 32.94% from 357,548 units in March 2025. The company's market share increased by 3.31%.
TVS registered a strong performance with 374,602 units sold in March 2026, compared to 276,276 units last year. This represents a YoY growth of 35.59% and an increase in market share of 5.37%.
Bajaj sold 216,253 units in March 2026, up from 171,866 units in March 2025. Its market share dropped to 2.22%, signalling a dip in competitiveness or product demand compared to the previous year.
Suzuki recorded 98,412 unit sales in March 2026, showing a solid increase of 15.84% from 84,955 units in March 2025. However, the market share declined by 9.98%.
Royal Enfield sold 96,510 motorcycles in March 2026, improving on 77,560 units in March 2025. As a result, the sales increased by 24.43%, highlighting strong demand in the mid-size premium segment.
Yamaha sold 65,705 units in March 2026 compared to 48,320 in March 2025. Its market share increased slightly by 5.67%, indicating a small contraction in its customer base or channel movement.
Ather Energy posted a strong performance with 35,736 units sold in March 2026, up from 15,650 units last year. Its sales jumped to 128.35%, making it one of the standout performers in the EV segment.
Ola Electric saw a significant drop in sales from 23,634 units in March 2025 to 10,118 units in March 2026. Consequently, its sales declined by 57.19%, reflecting weakened demand or strategic adjustments.
With 7,965 units sold in March 2026 compared to 5,648 units in March 2025, Greaves Electric experienced an increase of 41.02%. Its market share also increased by 9.59%.
Classic Legends sold 4,617 units in March 2026, compared to 2,324 units in March 2025. This shows an increase in sales by 98.67%.
River Mobility has recorded the highest sales in March 2026 with 417.33% increase in sales, selling 4,149 units. In comparison, it sold 802 units in March 2025.
