FADA has released the July 2026 two-wheeler retail sales data, showing strong growth in the Indian market. A total of 1,818,289 units were sold in July 2026, compared to 1,417,767 units in July 2025. This reflects an impressive 28.25% year-on-year increase, driven by rising demand across both ICE and electric two-wheelers.

Honda emerged as the market leader in July 2026 with 469,687 units, compared to 365,395 units last year. This resulted in a 28.54% YoY growth, while maintaining a stable market share.
Hero MotoCorp secured the second position with 440,662 units, up from 347,398 units. The company posted a 26.85% growth, though its market share declined slightly by 1.10%.
TVS delivered a strong performance, selling 374,113 units compared to 280,337 units last year. This marked an impressive 33.45% YoY growth, along with a 4.10% increase in market share.

Bajaj Auto sold 180,183 units, up from 146,667 units. This reflects a 22.85% growth, though its market share dropped by 4.16%.
Suzuki recorded 102,668 units, compared to 93,984 units last year. The brand saw a 9.24% growth, but market share declined significantly.
Royal Enfield posted strong growth with 95,080 units, up from 72,207 units. This reflects a 31.68% YoY increase, along with a 2.75% rise in market share.

Yamaha reported 67,781 units, compared to 52,486 units last year. The company registered a 29.14% growth, with a slight increase in market share.
Ather Energy continued its rapid expansion, selling 30,357 units compared to 17,834 units last year. This resulted in a 70.22% YoY growth, along with a strong rise in market share.
Ola Electric saw a decline, selling 14,106 units versus 18,450 units last year. This reflects a 23.54% drop, with a sharp fall in market share.
Greaves Electric posted significant growth with 10,125 units, up from 4,266 units. The company recorded a massive 137.34% YoY growth, along with strong gains in market share.
River Mobility delivered exceptional growth, selling 5,954 units versus 1,680 units. This reflects a 254.40% YoY growth, along with a major rise in market share.
BGauss sold 5,518 units, up from 1,763 units. This resulted in a 212.99% growth, with market share increasing sharply.
Classic Legends registered 4,541 units, compared to 2,465 units last year. This shows an 84.22% growth, with a solid rise in market share.
Piaggio recorded 3,684 units, compared to 2,754 units last year. The company saw a 33.77% growth, with a slight improvement in market share.
The “Others Including EV” category sold 13,830 units, up from 10,081 units. This reflects a 37.19% growth, along with a small increase in market share.
Overall, July 2026 witnessed strong momentum in the two-wheeler segment with over 28.25% YoY growth. Honda emerged as the top-selling brand, while TVS showed strong gains in market share. Moreover, the EV segment continued its rapid rise, with companies like Ather, Greaves, and River Mobility emerging as key growth drivers in the market.
