TVS Motor showcased its latest two-wheeler lineup at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. The company presented several electric scooters for the European market. These included the M1S, TVS X, and Orbiter. The M1S will first launch in Indonesia before reaching Europe. In addition, the company unveiled the TVS RTR 125, which attracted attention at the event.
However, another important announcement came during the presentation. TVS confirmed that its popular iQube electric scooter will soon get Android Auto support through a partnership with Google. Although the company made this announcement briefly, it brings a major technology update to the electric scooter.

The top variants of the current TVS iQube come with a 7 inch touchscreen display. This screen supports several connected features and smart functions. Now, TVS plans to add Android Auto support to this display for the first time.
With this update, riders can access Android Auto features directly through the scooter's touchscreen. Moreover, the display will continue to show important riding information. These details include battery state of charge (SOC), estimated range, trip information, speed and warning indicators.
TVS has already worked with Google on another electric scooter. The TVS X sold in India features wireless Android Auto support through its large 10.2 inch TFT display. Furthermore, TVS confirmed that the European version of the X will also offer this feature.
Android Auto will allow iQube owners to access supported smartphone apps through the scooter's display. As a result, riders can use familiar connected features without depending only on TVS' existing applications.
However, TVS has not confirmed whether the new system will support wireless or wired connections. The company has also not shared whether existing iQube owners can get this update or whether it will only come with new scooters. In addition, TVS has not announced Apple CarPlay support for the iQube. The company may focus on Android Auto first, considering the large number of Android smartphone users in India. More details about the launch timeline and availability should emerge in the coming months.
