TVS Orbiter is the newest electric scooter from TVS Motor Company, launched on 28th August 2025. Its tall visor, boxy body panels, and dual-tone colours give it a premium touch. TVS Orbiter price starts at Rs 1.05 Lakh in India. Furthermore, TVS has kept things simple by offering the Orbiter in a single fully-loaded variant.
The front looks bold because of the large 14-inch alloy wheel. Moreover, the sleek LED lights add to its modern personality. You can pick from 6 colour options, which makes the scooter stand out. This TVS scooter rivals the Ather Rizta, Vida V2 and Ola S1X.
Against such competitors, TVS Orbiter manages to hold its own balanced package. Families and young professionals can both see value in it.
The scooter costs Rs 1.05 Lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it the most affordable electric scooter from TVS. Interestingly, it costs Rs 2,618 less than the iQube’s base model. Still, you are getting more range and features at a lower price.
Moreover, when compared with rivals, the Orbiter still manages to offer a better balance of price and practicality. It comes in 6 colour options, including Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, Martian Copper, Lunar Grey, Stratos Blue and Neon Sunburst.
The Orbiter comes with a 3.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It is IP67 rated, which means it is protected from water and dust. This battery powers a 2.1kW hub motor. You get enough power for quick accelerations and easy overtakes in traffic.
The scooter goes from 0 to 40 kmph in just 6.8 seconds. Its top speed is claimed to be 68 kmph. Moreover, the Orbiter includes two riding modes: Eco and City. These modes help you adjust performance based on riding conditions.
TVS claims the scooter delivers on a single charge under IDC conditions. This is a big advantage because it means fewer charging stops during the week. You can ride to work, handle errands, and even take short weekend trips without worrying about battery anxiety.
Apart from this, charging the Orbiter is also convenient. The scooter comes with a 650W charger. It charges the battery from 0 to 80% in about 4 hours and 10 minutes. Furthermore, the consistent performance of the motor and efficient riding modes ensure that the scooter delivers this range reliably.
In addition, the scooter gets a glove box and a spacious floorboard for carrying bags. There’s also a USB charging port included below the console. This lets you charge your phone while riding. The Orbiter also connects to a mobile app. Through the app, you can check vehicle health, scooter location, and even the nearest charging stations.
The Orbiter is built on a strong steel tube frame. The scooter gets a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It runs on a 14-inch front alloy wheel and a 12-inch rear alloy wheel. Both wheels use 90-section tyres, which offer good grip for city riding.
Furthermore, the Orbiter uses drum brakes on both ends. It also comes with a combined braking system (CBS) for added safety. Moreover, the TVS Orbiter weight is 112kg (kerb), which makes it light and easy to handle.
Furthermore, you can ride over speed breakers easily with TVS Orbiter ground clearance of 169mm. In terms of warranty, TVS offers 3 years or 50,000km coverage.
