TVS Sales Jump 21% in August 2026 as EV Sales Surge 137%

TVS Motor Company recorded 5,91,437 two wheeler sales in August 2026, compared to 4,90,788 units in August 2025. This represents a 21% year on year growth, supported by higher domestic, export, and electric vehicle sales.

TVS recorded 4,33,796 domestic sales in August 2026, compared to 3,68,862 units in the same month last year. The 18% growth shows that demand for TVS motorcycles and scooters remained strong in India.

Meanwhile, exports increased by 29%, reaching 1,57,641 units compared to 1,21,926 units in August 2025. This growth also helped TVS maintain its overall sales momentum during the month.

EV Sales Continue Strong Growth

TVS continued to see strong demand for its electric two wheelers like the iQube and Orbiter. The company sold 59,453 EVs in August 2026, up from 25,138 units in August 2025. This marks a massive 137% year on year growth.

The sharp rise in EV sales highlights the growing demand for TVS electric scooters, with models such as the TVS iQube continuing to support the brand's electric portfolio.
