Royal Enfield Sales Rise 11% in August 2026, Cross 1.26 Lakh Units

Royal Enfield recorded 1,26,479 motorcycle sales in August 2026, compared to 1,14,002 units in August 2025. This marks an 11% year on year growth for the company. The growth came from both the domestic and export markets, while the up to 350cc and EV segment remained the biggest contributor. 

Royal Enfield Bikes Sales Breakdown

The motorcycles up to 350cc and EV segment remained the biggest contributor to Royal Enfield's August 2026 sales. It recorded 1,13,143 units, compared to 98,631 units in August 2025. This represents a 15% year on year growth.

Meanwhile, the Royal Enfield motorcycles with engine capacity above 350cc recorded 13,336 units in August 2026. However, sales declined by 13% from 15,371 units in the same month last year. As a result, the smaller engine and EV segment played a bigger role in the company's monthly performance.

Domestic and Export Sales Performance

Royal Enfield's domestic sales increased by 11%, reaching 1,14,204 units in August 2026 compared to 1,02,876 units in August 2025. Therefore, the Indian market continued to provide strong support to the company's overall sales.

In addition, exports grew by 10% during the month. The company exported 12,275 units in August 2026, compared to 11,126 units a year earlier. Although exports remained smaller than domestic sales, the growth shows a positive trend in international demand.

YTD Performance Highlights (FY 2026-27)

On a year-to-date basis, Royal Enfield recorded 5,75,138 total sales from April to August 2026. This marks a 23% growth compared to 4,67,575 units during the same period last year.

The bikes up to 350cc and EV segment recorded strong 28% growth, reaching 5,12,817 units. Similarly, domestic sales increased by 28% to 5,20,695 units.

However, the above 350cc segment declined by 5%, while exports fell by 9% during the April to August period. Overall, Royal Enfield maintained positive sales momentum, with domestic demand and the up to 350cc and EV segment supporting the company's growth.
