Triumph has launched the 2026 Daytona 660 in India at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). The updated motorcycle costs Rs 11,000 more than the outgoing model. However, Triumph has added several new features and hardware changes to justify the small price increase.
The biggest update comes to the front suspension. The Triumph Daytona 660 now gets a 41mm Showa upside-down fork with compression and rebound adjustment. This allows riders to change the front suspension setup according to their riding style and road conditions.
In addition, the front suspension still offers 110mm of wheel travel. The rear monoshock remains unchanged, with preload adjustment and 130mm of travel.
The most useful equipment upgrade is the bidirectional quickshifter. Triumph offered it as an optional accessory on the earlier model, but it now comes as standard. As a result, riders can make clutchless upshifts and downshifts while riding. This can also make gear changes smoother during spirited riding.
Triumph has also changed the tyre setup. The 2026 Daytona 660 now uses Metzeler M9RR tyres instead of the earlier Michelin Power 6 units. The new tyres add a sportier touch to the updated motorcycle. Furthermore, the Daytona 660 gets three new colour options:
However, Triumph has not changed the engine or chassis. The Daytona 660 continues with its 660cc, three-cylinder engine that produces 95 PS and 68 Nm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and retains the steel perimeter frame and twin front disc brakes with radial callipers.
At Rs 9.99 lakh, the 2026 Daytona 660 costs only Rs 11,000 more than the previous model. In addition, it now gets adjustable front suspension, a standard quickshifter, new Metzeler tyres, and fresh colours. These updates give the middleweight Sports bike a more focused package without major changes to its core mechanical setup.
