Triumph unveils its latest model: Tiger Sport 800

Triumph has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Tiger Sport 800, emphasizing its commitment to adventure touring. This new mode will be powered by a powerful 798 cc engine and will offer impressive performance on highways and rough terrain. 

Furthermore, the robust ergonomics, advanced technology, and sleek design are manufactured for long rides and urban commuting. It comes with a comprehensive list of features like a full-color TFT display, cornering ABS, and adjustable suspension for enhanced handling. These features make it a game-changer in this segment as Triumph expands its adventure lineup.

Triumph, the British motorcycle brand, has unveiled its newest bike, the Tiger Sport 800. It replaces the former Tiger 850 Sport. In addition to sharing the name with the Tiger Sport 660, the new Tiger Sport 800 also draws design inspiration from that bike.
 

Design Features and Performance Specifications 

The Tiger Sport 800 has a split LED headlight similar to that of the 660, supported by boomerang-shaped LEDs set between. Its top features a transparent visor, muscular body panels throughout, and a single-piece seat. Triumph has unveiled the Tiger Sport 800 in the global market and is available in four different color options: Sapphire Black, Caspian Blue, Cosmic Yellow, and Graphite.

Moreover, the bike is equipped with a 798cc inline three-cylinder unit engine, the Tiger Sport 800, which produces 113bhp and a maximum torque of 84Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a bidirectional quickshifter and a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother performance.
 

Triumph has fitted the Tiger Sport 800 with three ride modes: road, rain, and sport. The bike also features cornering ABS, switchable traction control, cruise control, an adjustable visor, and LED lighting. Heated grips and TPMS can be added for an additional cost.
 

Purpose-Built Design and Key Specifications

The aim is to design the Tiger Sport 800 as an off-road motorcycle equipped with all the necessary hardware for off-road performance. It has Showa USD front forks with adjustable compression and rebound, along with a Showa monoshock. Braking hardware comes in the form of dual 310mm front discs, supported by a single 255mm rear disc on 17-inch rims.
 

The Tiger Sport 800 offers the same number of variants. It is available worldwide, priced at Rs. 12.07 lakh, ex-showroom, excluding tax. We expect it to be launched in India soon. Additionally, the competitors will be the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE and Honda Transalp XL750.
