The prices of Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X have gone up by around Rs. 1,500 in India. This is the first time they've hiked their price since they launched nine months ago in 2023. Now, the Triumph Speed 400 price is around Rs. 2,34,497, and the Scrambler 400 X price is Rs. 2,64,496.

Triumph Speed 400 vs Scrambler 400 X Front Angle

Triumph is known for its premium bikes and these entry-level Triumph bikes offer good value compared to others in the market. Moreover, when launched the Scrambler 400 X was cheaper than its main rivals like KTM and Royal Enfield. Even with the recent Rs. 1,500 increase, both bikes are still competitively priced. This hike might be because of inflation and the higher costs incurred while manufacturing the bikes.

Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400 X Specifications

Triumph Scrambler 400 X and Speed 400 have the same 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Their engine generates 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. Moreover, their engines are mated with a 6-speed gearbox for smooth shifting between gears.

It shows important details like what gear you're in and how far you can go on fuel. There's a USB-C port to charge your devices while you're riding. The handlebars are wide and can be adjusted to help you steer better. You can turn on traction control and ABS to feel safer on different kinds of roads. Also, there's a system to start the engine without a key and to prevent theft.

Triumph Expanding Its 400cc Lineup

Triumph is testing a new model, the Thruxton 400. This bike has a sporty and classic style. It's like the regular Thruxton but smaller. All the bikes in the 400 range have a 398cc engine that can deliver about 40 bhp and 38 Nm torque.
