
Yamaha Motor India recorded 72,579 domestic sales in July 2026, up 44.11% from 50,365 units last year. The growth came from strong demand across scooters and motorcycles.
Monthly sales also rose 9.02% from 66,573 units in June. RayZR remained Yamaha’s biggest contributor, while R15, MT15, Fascino and Aerox posted strong yearly gains. The sales performance keeps Yamaha relevant against rivals such as Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access 125.
RayZR led Yamaha’s portfolio with 23,760 units in July, accounting for 32.74% of domestic sales. Sales rose 44.69% YoY from 16,421 units.
R15 followed with 10,505 units, registering 58.61% YoY growth. Its monthly sales also increased 13.43% from June.
MT15 recorded 10,347 units, with 21.53% YoY and 2.51% MoM growth. R15 and MT15 together contributed almost 29% of July volumes.

Aerox sales climbed to 4,544 units in July, up 102.95% YoY from 2,239 units. Sales also jumped 212.30% MoM from 1,455 units in June. Yamaha recorded its highest monthly Aerox sales to date.
Fascino sold 8,185 units, up 50.18% YoY. However, monthly sales fell 6.88% from June.
XSR sales reached 5,032 units, up 19.84% MoM. FZ recorded 9,912 units, but sales declined 10.78% YoY.
The EC06 electric scooter recorded 294 units in July, up 75% MoM from 168 units. It contributed 0.41% of Yamaha’s domestic sales.
No R3 or MT03 sales were reported in July 2026. Eight units were registered during July 2025.
Overall, Yamaha’s July growth came from both scooters and motorcycles. The company expects to launch the new R2 next week, which could support future sales.
