The Yamaha FZ Blue Flex keeps the familiar FZ design with a muscular fuel tank and compact body. The overall shape looks sporty without making the bike appear too aggressive. 
 

The main highlight is its E85 compatible 149 cc engine. This allows the motorcycle to run on petrol with ethanol blends from E20 to E85. With 11.5 bhp and 12.8 Nm, the engine delivers smooth and easy to manage power during city riding. 

• The muscular fuel tank gives the FZ Blue Flex a wider appearance. Its shape gives the rider a comfortable area to hold with the knees.
• Sharp styling comes from the LED projector headlamp at the front, while its bright and focused light improves visibility during night rides, especially on poorly lit roads. 
• The under cowl adds a sporty touch below the engine. It helps to reduce mud and dirt reaching the lower engine area. 
• The 139 kg kerb weight makes the bike easy to handle at low speeds. Moving it around while parking feels easier. It also helps when riding through crowded roads.

The biggest reason to consider this motorcycle is its E85 fuel compatibility. It supports ethanol blended petrol from E20 to E85, making this feature the main difference from regular FZ models. The 135 mm ground clearance is the main point that needs some attention on Indian roads. Large speed breakers and deep road dips need a slower approach. For me, the FZ Blue Flex makes more sense as a daily city motorcycle than a performance focused bike.
