It also allows buyers to compare between variants, tyres, colours, and price differences. Furthermore, the engine, navigation, and lighting features ensures that the bike would fit both touring and daily riding needs. Thus, being aware of these points saves time, avoids confusion, and leads to a better riding experience.

Engine and Performance

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 comes with a 443cc single cylinder engine that makes 25.4 bhp of power and 34 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 6 speed gearbox for much smoother power delivery on highways and city roads. Performance for the Scram 440 is a wee bit better than the Himalayan 411, enabling riders to cover distances with ease. Thus, it is well-suited for those in search of a trustworthy mid-capacity touring motorcycle.

Tyres and Wheels

Tubeless tyres and alloy wheels are fitted on the Scram 440, though it is available on Force variant only. The front tyre runs on 19 inch & rear 17 inch tyres which makes it quite convenient for the riders. Spoked wheels are used on the Trail variant. It gets tubed tyres which are suitable for off road conditions. However, their overall design and essential features being the same, the variants are almost similar in comfort and handling. Hence, riders can choose the variant based on their preferred riding style.

Tripper Navigation

Both versions of the Scram 440 are fitted as standard with the Tripper navigation pod. It makes touring a breeze with turn by turn directions and allows riders to explore new routes with confidence. And, of course, it's even more convenient on long trips.

Lighting

The Scram 440 gets an LED headlight and tail light for better road visibility while riding. However, the turn indicators still operate on conventional bulbs, unlike some of the newer Royal Enfield motorcycles. In addition, this design maintains the classic Royal Enfield aesthetic while slightly improving safety.

Variants and Colours

This motorcycle is available in two variants: Trail and Force. The Trail variant comes in Trail Blue and Trail Green, while the Force variant offers Force Blue, Force Grey, and Force Teal. Though the colours differ, the overall design and features remain similar between the two variants.

Price

The prices of the Royal Enfield Scram 440 post GST 2.0 range from Rs. 2.23 lakh to Rs. 2.31 lakh. This is a price increase of Rs 15,000 over the previous rates, so customers need to factor this into their buying decision.
