Royal Enfield has achieved a major milestone in FY2026. The company crossed 1 million domestic sales for the first time ever. Between April 2025 and February 2026, it sold over 10,06,937 motorcycles in India. This shows a strong 24 percent growth compared to last year.

In addition, the company may finish the full financial year with nearly 11 lakh domestic units. Exports could also touch around 1.25 lakh units. This growth reflects rising demand for premium motorcycles across India.

Perhaps one key reason behind this success is better pricing. The company reduced prices of its popular 350cc bikes. Discounts went up to Rs 22,000, which attracted more buyers quickly.

350cc Bikes Remain Backbone of Sales

The largest strength lies in the 350cc segment. Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 are some of the models that dominate the sales. The output of these two combined is close to 92 percent of the total dispatches.

Nevertheless, all bikes cater to a rider of a different kind. The Classic 350 has a stylish and comfortable design to wear on a daily basis. The Bullet 350 retains its vintage appeal and appeals to customers who are loyal. Contrastingly, Hunter 350 is aimed at young riders. At the same time, Meteor 350 is aimed at comfortable cruising and distance comfort.

Due to this diversity, the brand has an enormous 94 percent market share in the 250-350cc. The rival companies such as Honda and TVS are a long way behind in this area.

Mid-Size & Premium Segments Show Mixed Results

In the 350–500cc category, performance looks slightly weaker. The Himalayan 450 and Guerilla 450 saw a small decline in sales. As a result, the company holds around 27% market share here.

On the other hand, rivals like Bajaj Auto lead this category with a strong 60% share. This shows tougher competition in higher engine segments.

650cc Lineup Keeps Premium Segment Strong

The situation of the story shifts in the 500-650cc category. In this case, Royal Enfield is a market leader with a huge market share of 97 percent. Such models as Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 are very popular. Moreover, other newer bikes such as Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 are fresher.

These bikes are appealing to those riders who want power and style in an affordable cost. To sum it up, FY2026 appears to be a historic year.
