Moreover, the total number of domestic sales was 5,98,952 units, while exports were recorded at 51,644 units.
Besides this, HMSI has also achieved yet another major feat of selling over 35 million units of its popular Activa scooter to firmly establish it among India's trusted two-wheelers. Further, it strengthens the relationship between Honda & Indian commuters, retaining its continuous lead in the scooter segment.

Key Sales Highlights:

  • Total sales: 6,50,596 units in October 2025
  • Domestic sales: 5,98,952 units
  • Exports: 51,644 units
  • Year-on-year growth: 9%
  • Month-on-month growth: 15%
  • Activa scooter crosses 35 million units sold

Comparing Monthly and Yearly Performance

Compared with September 2025, overall sales at Honda increased 15%, indicating strong festive season demand. The 9% year-on-year increase reflects the consistency of improvement in Honda's market performance.
HMSI reported 36,41,612 units of total sales for the April to October FY26 period, consisting of 32,78,451 domestic and 3,63,161 exports. The sustained growth reflects stable momentum and customer confidence in the brand at large in both urban and rural markets.
In that sense, continued performance by Honda indicates that the company can balance challenges in the market while consumer demand for its scooters and motorcycles stays strong.

Focus on Road Safety and Awareness

Besides recording impressive sales, HMSI continued with its road safety education & public awareness drive across the country. The company conducted road safety campaigns in cities such as Siwan, Mathura, Jhunjhunu, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Jalna, Lucknow, Kannur, & Hubballi.

  • Further, HMSI celebrated two major landmarks for its safety education:
  • The 8th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Karnal, Haryana.
  • The 5th anniversary of its Safety Driving Education Centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The company also organized a Road Safety Convention in Jabalpur, wherein principals and teachers participated in improving traffic awareness among young students. These initiatives demonstrate Honda's continued efforts toward making roads safer with responsible riding behavior.

Enhancing CSR and Community Development

Under its CSR wing, the Honda India Foundation, the company scaled up efforts in safety, awareness, and skill development. Under the project 'Sadak Sahayak: Surakshit Marg, Surakshit Jiwan', the HIF handed over 200 QRT vehicles to the respective police departments of Chandigarh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka in order to strengthen the emergency response systems for improving road safety in key regions.
Additionally, HIF introduced several new initiatives to effectively reach the communities:
