Honda has launched the updated Honda NX500 in India with new technology and revised colours. The motorcycle now comes equipped with Honda’s advanced E-Clutch system. The updated NX500 is priced at Rs. 7,43,900 (ex-showroom). However, the latest version costs Rs. 1,10,720 more than the older model.

Interestingly, this becomes the first Honda adventure motorcycle in India to feature the E-Clutch technology. In addition, Honda believes the system can make riding easier for newer riders. The E-Clutch uses electronically controlled actuators inside the clutch housing. As a result, riders can start moving and shift gears without using the clutch lever.

New Colour Options Give the NX500 a Fresh Appearance

Honda has also updated the motorcycle’s colour lineup for 2026. The NX500 now comes in two colour options: Pearl Horizon White and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic. The Pearl Horizon White shade offers a brighter and more youthful appearance. It combines a white body finish with light blue and purple graphics.

Compared to the older version, Honda replaced the previous red accents with new blue and purple detailing. Therefore, the motorcycle now looks more modern and visually distinctive. In contrast, the Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic shade focuses on a darker and more premium appearance. The motorcycle features a black finish with blue-grey panels and orange accents.

Adventure Touring Focus Remains Unchanged

Apart from the E-Clutch and new colours, Honda has not changed the NX500 mechanically. The motorcycle continues offering adventure-focused ergonomics and touring comfort. The NX500 remains suitable for both highway touring and daily city riding. Moreover, the upright seating position helps riders during longer journeys.

Honda designed the E-Clutch system especially for riders upgrading to larger motorcycles. Getting clutch control correct on high-capacity bikes can feel difficult initially. Therefore, this technology may make the learning experience smoother and less stressful. In addition, experienced riders may also appreciate the convenience during stop-and-go traffic.
