Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Mileage

Last year, I was planning to buy my third bike, as I am very fond of riding and cruising. Earlier, I owned the Avenger 200 and the Hunter 350. After using the Hunter, I decided to go for another Royal Enfield bike because of its character and smooth riding experience. So, I explored options within the brand, and the bike that stood out the most was the Shotgun 650. In one year, I have ridden it for over 7,000 km, and one thing I can say is that it’s awesome. The road presence is truly commendable. The bike is powerful, but the mileage is not up to the mark. I only get around 18–23 kmpl.

The Shotgun 650 caught my attention because of its unique style. It looks bold and different on the road. Riding it feels powerful, and the engine response is quite exciting. I like how planted it feels at higher speeds. It is not just about looks, though. The comfort is decent, and it works fine for short trips too. It definitely turns heads wherever I go.

The short rear section changes the bike’s overall balance. A 648cc twin engine produces 46.39 bhp and reaches 170 kmph. Disc brakes with ABS feel strong. Mileage stays around 18 kmpl. It carries a 13.8-litre tank, alloy wheels, LED indicators, compact digital display, stiff suspension, and thick tyres.

The Shotgun 650 feels solid and powerful on the road. Its 648cc engine offers smooth acceleration and strong mid-range performance. The bike looks bold and feels stable at higher speeds. I enjoy its comfortable ride and unique style, which makes every ride feel special and confident.

While riding through city streets, the design attracts attention instantly. The seating feels supportive, and the bike remains stable at moderate speeds. Ground clearance of 140 mm needs slight care on taller speed breakers. This motorcycle feels unique and stylish, meant for riders who enjoy standing out.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 blends bobber-inspired styling with the proven 648cc parallel-twin engine, delivering strong torque and smooth highway performance. Its low-slung stance, wide handlebars, and comfortable seat make city and long rides equally enjoyable.
