Triumph Speed T4 Gets Rs 18,000 Discount : Now Priced at Rs 1.99 Lakh

Triumph has announced a discount on its Speed T4 bike. The price has dropped by Rs 18,000, which makes it more budget-friendly. Initially priced at Rs 2.17 lakh, the bike is now available at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This price cut makes the Speed T4 an exciting option in the 400cc segment.

Triumph introduced the Speed T4 last year, placing it below the Speed 400. The bike is designed for city riding that offers comfort and practicality. Now, with a reduced price, it becomes an even more attractive choice for buyers.

A Stylish and Urban-Focused Motorcycle

The Triumph Speed T4 has been designed more for urban use. It offers a fashionable body with three options: White, Red, and Black. There is also positioning of the Triumph Speed T4 as a 'more affordable sibling' of Speed 400, competing with Royal Enfield Hunter 350. 

Besides that, the Speed T4 also presents a smooth and comfortable ride feeling due to smooth power delivery. This Triumph bike features a steel trellis frame, along with a traditional suspension setup that makes it well-suited for city commutes.

Engine and Performance

The Speed T4 is equipped with a 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It provides 30.6 bhp @ 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm. Also, 85% of the torque becomes available from only 2,500 rpm, meaning fewer gear shifts and easier riding in the traffic. There is a six-speed manual gearbox to ensure easy performance.

Furthermore, Triumph has made slight changes to differentiate it from the Speed 400. It features conventional telescopic forks instead of USD forks. The bike also has non-adjustable levers and lacks traction control, which makes the model simpler yet effective.

Features and Competition

The Triumph Speed T4 is feature-rich in its price class. It offers a USB charging port, dual-channel ABS, and a monoshock rear suspension. Braking power will be good through front and rear disc brakes.

It has a seat height of 806 mm and weighs 180 kg. It provides an even ride and is suitable for new and old riders alike. Competition The Speed T4 competes with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
