Ducati has launched the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally in India at a starting price of Rs 32.40 lakh for red (ex-showroom). In addition, the Jade Green colour costs Rs 32.73 lakh. The motorcycle now sits above the regular Multistrada V4 range and focuses more on long-distance touring and rough road riding.

Perhaps the biggest talking point is the new 30-litre fuel tank, which gives a much longer riding range. However, the standard Multistrada V4 comes with a smaller 22-litre tank. This makes the Rally more suitable for long highway trips and remote routes.

Engine and Performance

The 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally uses a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. It produces 168 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 124 Nm torque at 9,000 rpm. In addition, Ducati has tuned the engine for smooth and linear power delivery, which helps during touring.

The engine also uses a counter-rotating crankshaft for better balance. Moreover, Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally offers strong service intervals with valve clearance checks at 60,000 km and oil service every 15,000 km or 24 months, which makes long-term ownership easier.

Suspension and Ride Comfort

The Rally version stands out with 200 mm suspension travel at both ends. It uses semi-active Marzocchi Adaptive Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO. In comparison, the standard Multistrada V4 offers less travel, which limits its off-road comfort.

In addition, the system adjusts damping based on road conditions and rider style. It also manages preload automatically, so the bike stays balanced even with a pillion and luggage. Riders can also change suspension settings while riding.

Safety, Features and Touring Equipment

Ducati has added advanced safety systems to the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally, showcasing the latest technology seen in Ducati Bikes. It comes with the Ducati Vehicle Observer, which improves control features such as ABS and wheelie control. Moreover, the bike gets radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning.

However, that is not all. The 2026 Rally also features an Automatic Lowering Device, which lowers the bike at low speeds for easier handling. It returns to normal height when speed increases. In addition, it comes with a wider windscreen (40mm), heated grips, tubeless spoked wheels, and improved luggage comfort.
