2025 KTM RC 200 Gets New TFT Display and Updated Features

KTM has quietly refreshed the 2025 RC 200 with a much-awaited tech upgrade. The biggest change is the new 5-inch TFT colour display, replacing the older LCD unit. The price of the 2025 KTM RC 200 starts at Rs 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom). This upgrade finally makes the recent Rs 11,000 price hike feel more justified.

Moreover, it is available in three colours: Black, Blue, and the new Metallic Grey and made the bike OBD-2B compliant. Let’s know more about the 2025 KTM RC 200.

New TFT Display Adds Premium Touch

The 2025 KTM RC 200 now features a 5-inch colour TFT screen, just like the 200 Duke. This screen looks bright and is easy to read, even in bright sunlight. The new display uses bonded glass, which resists scratches and feels solid.

It also supports Bluetooth, giving access to calls, music, and navigation via the KTM app. Moreover, the bike has a new switch cube on the handlebar that lets you control the screen with ease. This new screen not only improves function, but it also gives the bike a richer feel.

No Changes in Engine

 
The RC 200 still runs the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine. It produces 25.4 bhp and 19.5 Nm, paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox. This engine is known for its sharp throttle and high-speed performance.

The bike uses a steel trellis frame with WP Apex USD forks at the front. At the rear, it has a monoshock setup and dual disc brakes with ABS. Though unchanged, this setup is reliable and fun for city and highway rides.

Rivals Now Face Tougher Competition

The Yamaha R15 V4 offers a monochrome LCD, while the R15M gets a colour TFT. Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 still sticks with an LCD, even though it supports calls and navigation. Hero Karizma XMR has a TFT screen with over 35 features, including real-time mileage info.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 also uses an LCD with Bluetooth features via the Ride Connect app. Moreover, the RC 200 now looks more modern and tech-friendly than before.
