Your Weekly Bike Wrap-Up From Exciting New Launches and Discounts

A number of new bike and scooter launches have made news this week, making it an exciting week for the two-wheeler industry. A new range of Honda two-wheelers has been launched, offering something for all types of riders. Kawasaki has also gained attention due to the launch of the more reasonably priced adventure bike and the attractive offer on the Ninja ZX-4R. Let's review the main events of this week.

Honda Rebel 500 launched

 
Honda launched the new cruiser bike Rebel 500 at Rs. 5.12 lakh, which will compete with the Kawasaki Eliminator. For powering the bike, it comes with a 471cc, parallel-twin engine.  It generates 46 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 43.3 Nm at 6000 rpm. This liquid-cooled engine is paired with the 6-speed gearbox. The Honda Rebel 500 features include dual-channel ABS and an LCD instrument cluster.

Honda CB750 Hornet and CB1000 Hornet SP launched

 
Honda also launched the CB750 Hornet and the CB1000 Hornet SP at Rs. 8,59,500 and Rs. 12,35,900, respectively. Bookings for both models are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin in June 2025. The 755cc engine of the CB750 produces 91.77 PS and 75 Nm torque. On the other hand, the 999cc engine of the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP produces 157.17 PS and 107 Nm torque.

Both Honda bikes have mostly the same features, like a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, Navigation, calls/SMS, and music control. The CB750 has four riding modes: standard, rain, sport, and user. In contrast, the CB1000 Hornet SP comes with 2 user modes and self-cancelling turn indicators. 

Honda X-ADV 750 launched

 
Not just bikes, Honda also launched the brand-new X-ADV 750 at  Rs 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This is Honda's most expensive scooter to date in the nation. The X-ADV is powered by a 745cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces more than enough power for city or highway travel with 57.8 bhp and 69 Nm of torque. A  6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is included.

Kawasaki Versys X 300 launched

 
Kawasaki India launches the Versys-X 300, which starts at Rs 3.79 lakh ex-showroom. Due to the local sourcing of numerous bike components, this model is Rs. 1 lakh less expensive than the previous model. The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that generates 26.6 Nm of peak torque and 38.8 bhp. Additionally, it conforms to the most recent OBD-2B standards. It incorporates a slip and assist clutch for seamless gear shifting with a six-speed gearbox.

Discount on 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R

 
Kawasaki recently announced an amazing deal on the Ninja ZX-4R, its high-end sport bike. The price of the bike is now reduced to Rs 8.39 lakh (ex-showroom) because of a discount worth Rs 40,000. This deal is valid until May 31, 2025, or until supplies last. The 399cc inline-four engine that powers the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R produces 39 Nm of torque and 76.4 bhp.
