KTM 390 Enduro R price starts from Rs 3.39 Lakh. The 390 Enduro R is KTM’s first entry-level enduro motorcycle for the Indian market. The design is focused on performance and off-road capability. It looks rugged with a tall stance, minimal body panels, and a long front beak.
The KTM 390 Enduro R was launched in April 2025. It is a street-legal motorcycle that is ready for real off-road action. Furthermore, this adventure bike is built with serious trail use in mind, but can be ridden on regular roads too.
The KTM 390 Enduro R is priced at Rs 3.39 Lakh. It comes in one fully loaded variant in just the Electronic Orange colour option. This makes it simple for buyers to choose. The orange and black colour of the 390 Enduro R bike gives it a bold KTM look. Moreover, KTM 390 Adventure Enduro R bookings can be done on the official KTM India website.
The bike uses a 398.63cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This is the same engine as the KTM 390 Duke. It produces 45.37 bhp @ 8500 rpm of power and 39 Nm @ 6500 rpm of torque. Moreover, the KTM 390 Enduro R top speed is around Rs kmph.
The engine is tuned to deliver smooth performance on both road and dirt trails. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quickshifter. Moreover, KTM has added a ride-by-wire throttle for better control.
The bike also features a Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC), which makes shifting gears easy. This also helps prevent rear-wheel lock during fast downshifts. Furthermore, the bike has Bosch EMS for precision throttle response. The gear ratios are designed for balanced on- and off-road use.
The ARAI-rated mileage of the KTM 390 Enduro R is 47kmpl. In real-world riding, you can expect between 35 and 38 kmpl. The bike also has a 9 litre fuel tank. It is smaller than adventure tourers, but good enough for trail rides. Moreover, the overall range is about 423 km per full tank.
The 390 Enduro R comes loaded with smart and useful features made for off-road fun. It has a 4.2-inch TFT display that connects to your phone, so you get turn-by-turn navigation and even call or message alerts.
Apart from this, the motorcycle also features a bi-directional quickshifter, and the switchable traction control helps you stay in control on tricky trails. The ride-by-wire throttle makes the bike super responsive, while the bright LED lights improve night-time visibility.
KTM also added practical things like grab rails, an engine guard, and a saree guard for India. Altogether, these features make it a solid choice for both new and experienced riders.
The KTM Enduro R off-road bike is built to withstand the rigours of off-road riding. It features long-travel WP APEX suspension with adjustable front forks. The bike rolls on strong spoke wheels, including 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear. Moreover, the KTM 390 Enduro R kerb weight is 177.
It also has a full LED lighting setup, a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, and a strong steel trellis frame paired with an aluminium swingarm. The suspension setup includes preload adjustment on the rear monoshock for added comfort.
Furthermore, the KTM 390 Enduro R seat height of 860 is very accessible. Also, the bike has Dual-channel ABS, and the rear ABS can be switched off for dirt tracks. The KTM 390 Enduro R delivers the feel of a race bike with the comfort of a road machine.
“The KTM 390 Enduro R feels like a breath of fresh air for true off-road lovers. It offers strong performance, great suspension, and the raw feel you expect from a pure enduro machine. However, the Indian-spec version could have been even better with longer suspension travel and a lighter kerb weight. Even so, it remains a very capable trail bike.”
KTM 390 Enduro R motorcycle is predominantly built and constructed to carve dirt trails. This shares the same engine and frame as the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure. Thus, the setup comes across as far more off-road focused. The Indian version receives reduced suspension travel and a lower seat height, which makes this bike easier for many riders to handle. However, it also gets extra weight courtesy of the mandatory accessories, such as the saree guard and grab handles.

Even with these differences, the bike still feels tough, playful, and very capable on trails. It is not the best choice for long rides or highway touring due to its small fuel tank and aggressive ergonomics. But if you want a bike that takes you from home straight into the dirt, the 390 Enduro R fits that role wonderfully.

The 390 Enduro R is a motorcycle created for genuinely off-roading. It gives you strong performance, excellent suspension, and a raw sense of control that makes every trail exciting. However, it is not ideal for highway touring or long city rides due to its firm seat, small fuel tank, and tall stance. Still, for riders who enjoy weekend trails, tough terrains, and adventurous detours, this bike feels perfect.
