The sales figures show stronger demand for the R15 and Fascino, suggesting that customers favour these models. Buyers should compare purchase prices, running costs and service access before deciding.
Yamaha competes with Honda's Activa, TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access in the scooter segment. Its motorcycles also face competition from the TVS Apache range and Bajaj Pulsar lineup.
Yamaha's domestic sales grew in September, with the RayZR retaining the top spot. The R15 and Fascino recorded the strongest annual growth among established models. However, declining RayZR and FZ sales show that performance varied across the lineup. Buyers should use these numbers as a demand indicator, not as a substitute for comparing individual models.
