Kawasaki India has started offering a free Ohlins steering damper with the Ninja ZX-6R. The added component carries a value of Rs. 83,000. However, the company has kept the motorcycle’s price unchanged at Rs. 12.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
The offer remains active till 31 May 2026. Therefore, interested buyers can get the added equipment without paying extra during this period.

The Ohlins steering damper helps reduce unwanted handlebar movement during high-speed riding. Moreover, it can help riders maintain better motorcycle control in demanding riding conditions.
Track riders may also benefit from the added stability. Hence, riders using the Ninja ZX-6R on racing circuits could notice improved confidence.
The Ninja ZX-6R continues with its 636cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine. The motor produces 122.03 bhp and 69Nm. In addition, Kawasaki pairs the engine with a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle also gets a slip-and-assist clutch as standard equipment. Moreover, the sports bike rides on fully adjustable Showa suspension components.
Braking duties come from twin front discs and a rear disc setup. In addition, dual-channel ABS remains part of the package.
Kawasaki has not made feature updates to the Ninja ZX-6R. The motorcycle continues with traction control and multiple riding modes. Moreover, buyers also get a quickshifter and smartphone connectivity through the 4.3-inch TFT display.
