2027 Kawasaki Z900 Updated at Rs 9.99 Lakh with New Colours

Kawasaki India has updated the Z900 for the 2027 model year at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.99 lakh. However, the latest update brings only a few changes, unlike the major update that the motorcycle received earlier. The main highlights include two new colour options and small changes in the listed engine output and weight.

2027 Kawasaki Z900 Gets Two New Colour Options

Kawasaki has introduced two new colour combinations for the 2027 Z900 in India. Buyers can now choose Ebony with Metallic Carbon Gray and Metallic Spark Black. The second option combines Pearl Blizzard White with Plasma Lime Green.

In addition, Kawasaki has removed both colour options offered on the 2026 model. These included Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray with Metallic Flat Spark Black and Candy Lime Green with Metallic Carbon Gray. Therefore, the new model year brings fresh colour choices without a major change in the motorcycle's overall package.

Engine Output Drops Slightly for 2027

The 2027 Kawasaki Z900 continues to use a 948cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine. However, Kawasaki India now lists its maximum power at 121bhp, compared with 122bhp for the 2026 model. The torque figure remains unchanged.

Kawasaki has not explained why the listed power output has dropped by 1bhp. Perhaps the difference relates to updated homologation requirements or changes in how the company reports engine output. However, Kawasaki has not confirmed either reason.

The latest model also shows a small increase in weight. Kawasaki lists the 2027 Z900 at 213kg kerb weight, compared with 212kg for the 2026 version. Similarly, the estimated dry weight has increased from 192kg to 193kg.

Overall, the 2027 Kawasaki Z900 keeps its existing engine and receives new colour options along with minor changes to its listed specifications. Its ex showroom price remains Rs 9.99 lakh, while Kawasaki has not announced any major mechanical changes for the latest model year.
