The Kawasaki Z650 is a naked and aggressive middleweight motorcycle. It is built for riders who want a mix of power, control, and comfort. The bike is made according to Kawasaki’s signature Sugomi design. 

The design majorly focuses on strong lines and a clean, minimal look. The sharp headlamp, pointed spoiler, and muscular tank shrouds give the Z650 a bold presence that instantly catches the eye. 

The bike was first launched in India in May 2017. And then its BS6 version was launched in May 2020. However, the latest model was expensive than the former version.

The Kawasaki Z650 seat height is one of its highlights. It features a low and narrow seat design that allows riders to easily place their feet on the ground during stops. Moreover, the upright riding position gives better visibility on the road. The thicker seat padding and wide seats of the Z650 offer great comfort for the pillion.

The Kawasaki Z650 price in India is Rs. 7.26 Lakh (ex-showroom) for its single variant. And the on-road price of this bike may change depending on the RTO, insurance, and registration charges. 

Kawasaki Z650 Engine

For powering the Kawasaki Z650, it has a 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces a strong 67.31 bhp @ 8000 rpm of power and 64 Nm @ 6700 rpm of torque. The 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch is paired with the powertrain that improves stability during cornering. 

With a lightweight chassis and responsive engine, the Kawasaki Z650 top speed is around 201 kmph. Hence, it is one of the fastest bikes in India with an acceleration time of 0 to 60 kmph in just 3.78 seconds.

Kawasaki Z650 Mileage

The Kawasaki Z650 mileage is about 27 kmpl, which totally depends on the riding pattern and terrain. The fuel economy can be better at a steady speed on the highways. The fuel tank capacity of the Kawasaki Z650 is 15 litres. With this capacity, it gives a 300 km range for long rides without frequent fuel stops.

The Kawasaki Z650 weight and seat height are 188 kg and 790 mm, respectively. This makes handling easier, especially in traffic or while cornering. 

The suspension setup features telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable horizontal back-link rear shock, providing a comfortable ride. And for braking duties, it has disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS.

It displays all the important information, such as speed, gear position, fuel level, and more.
