Honda CB650R & CBR650R Get Stylish New Colours for 2026

Published at October 16, 2025 | By BikeJunction

Honda has added exciting new colours to its popular CB650R and CBR650R motorcycles for the 2026 global line-up. While there are no mechanical or tech changes this year, the updated palette gives these bikes a refreshed and youthful look, keeping them attractive for riders around the world.

Interestingly, Honda India has not shared any official timeline for their arrival. However, looking at past launches, we can expect these new shades to make their way to the Indian market in the near future.

New Colour Options for the CBR650R

Honda’s CBR650R, the sporty middleweight motorcycle, gets one new colour for 2026. It will now be available in a Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic shade with subtle yellow accents on the side fairing.

This new variant joins the existing Grand Prix Red Tricolour option, giving buyers a choice between a sharp racing look and a darker, more stealthy appearance.

The Honda CBR650R received its major update back in 2024, which included a new 5-inch TFT display, a redesigned headlight and fairing, and revised rider and pillion seats. The engine remained the same then, and it continues unchanged in 2026 and produces 93.8 bhp at 12,000 rpm & 63 Nm torque at 9,500 rpm.

Perhaps the most unique feature is Honda’s E-Clutch system, which lets riders shift gears without using the clutch lever. This offers smooth gear changes in traffic while keeping manual control when needed.

Four Fresh Colours for the CB650R

The Honda CB650R, the naked sibling of the CBR650R, gets more variety this time. Honda has introduced four colour options for 2026:

  • Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic with Graphite accents (updated)
  • Matte Jeans Blue Metallic with Graphite details (new)
  • Candy Energy Orange with Graphite accents (new)
  • Grand Prix Red with Graphite highlights (new)

These shades add a youthful, bold, and sporty vibe to the CB650R’s neo-retro styling.
