FADA Two-wheeler Sales Report October 2025 : Sales Increased by 51.76%

FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations) has announced its October 2025 sales report, which registered a YoY growth of 51.76% and a MoM increase of 144.60%.

In October 2025, the industry clocked in a total sales volume of 3,149,846 units, whereas in October 2024, the industry saw sales of 2,075,578 units. This resulted in a 51.76% growth in YoY growth. Moreover, a 144.60% growth in MoM sales is observed, as sales figures in August 2025 were 12,87,735 units.

2-Wheeler OEMs Sales Figures & Market Share in October 2025 

  • Hero MotoCorp secured first place with 994,787 units sold in October 2025. This is a 72.20% incline from 577,678 units sold in October 2024. This translates to a market share growth of 13.47%.
  • Honda is the second top-selling two-wheeler manufacturer in October 2025 with total retail sales of 821,976 units. This marks a slight increase of 47.78% from 556,209 units in October 2024. The company's market share declined by 2.62%.
  • TVS registered a strong performance with 556,209 units sold in October 2025, compared to 353,619 units last year. This represents a YoY growth of 57.82% and an increase in market share of 3.99%.
  • Bajaj Auto sold 323,713 units in October 2025, up from 231,048 units in October 2024. Its market share dropped to 7.68%, signalling a dip in competitiveness or product demand compared to the previous year.
  • Royal Enfield sold 144,615 motorcycles in October 2025, improving on 98,163 units in October 2024. As a result, the sales increased by 47.32% and the market share increased to 2.92%, highlighting strong demand in the mid-size premium segment.
  • Suzuki recorded 135,715 unit sales in October 2025, showing a solid increase of 26.71% from 107,107 units in October 2024. However, the market share declined by 16.51%.
  • Yamaha sold 92,359 units in October 2025 compared to 68,461 in October 2024. Its market share dropped slightly by 11.10%, indicating a small contraction in its customer base or channel movement.
  • Ather Energy posted a strong performance with 28,101 units sold in October 2025, up from 16,248 units last year. Its sales jumped to 72.95%, making it one of the standout performers in the EV segment.
  • Ola Electric saw a significant drop in sales from 41,843 units in October 2024 to 16,036 units in October 2025. Consequently, its sales declined by 61.68%, reflecting weakened demand or strategic adjustments.
  • With 7,629 units sold in October 2025 compared to 3,990 units in October 2024, Greaves Electric experienced an increase of 91.20%. Its market share also increased by 25.99%.
  • Classic Legends sold 6,922 units in October 2025, compared to 4,329 units in October 2024. This shows an increase in sales by 59.90%.
  • Piaggio recorded an increase in retail sales, moving from 3,296 units in October 2024 to 3,666 units in October 2025. Its market share reduced to 26.71%, showing a slight decline in presence.
  • The “Others Including EV” segment posted 16,252 unit sales in October 2025, up from 13,587 units in October 2024. Its market share declined slightly to 21.18%.
