Bi-Weekly Two-Wheeler News: New Models, Colours and Price Changes

The Indian two wheeler market saw several important launches and updates this week. Bajaj introduced new Pulsar models, while Yamaha entered the 200cc supersport segment with the R2.

Honda also launched the Rebel 300 and ADV 160 in India. TVS added new iQube and Jupiter variants, while Ola introduced the S1Z electric scooter.

New Bajaj Pulsar 150 Launched at Rs. 1.15 Lakh

Bajaj has launched the new Pulsar 150 in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle gets major updates to its design, engine, frame, suspension and features. It is offered in three variants, with the top versions getting a 5 inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation.

The new Pulsar 150 uses a 149.5cc air/oil-cooled engine producing 14 PS and 14.1 Nm. It also gets a monoshock rear suspension, all-LED lighting, USB Type-C charging and a silent start system.

New Bajaj Pulsar 125 Launched at Rs. 92,990

Bajaj has launched the updated Pulsar 125 in India at a starting price of Rs. 92,990 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is available in four variants, with prices going up to Rs. 1.04 lakh.

The new Pulsar 125 gets a 125cc engine producing 12.1 PS and 11.4 Nm. It also features a monoshock, new LED lighting, riding modes, USB Type-C charging, and a 5-inch TFT display on the top variant.

TVS iQube MillionR Edition Launched at Rs. 1.40 Lakh

TVS has launched the iQube MillionR Special Edition in India at Rs. 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The edition celebrates the electric scooter crossing the one million customer milestone.

Based on the 3.5kWh iQube, it gets an Aurora Green dual-tone finish, premium seat upholstery, and MillionR badging. It also adds a front storage compartment, a USB Type-C port, and increases total storage from 32 litres to 35.5 litres. The claimed IDC range stands at 145km.

Honda Rebel 300 Launched in India at Rs. 2.22 Lakh

Honda has launched the Rebel 300 in India at a starting price of Rs. 2.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is offered in Standard and E-Clutch versions, with the latter priced at Rs. 2.62 lakh.

The Rebel 300 uses a 286cc liquid-cooled engine producing around 30 bhp and 27.5 Nm. It gets a six-speed gearbox, circular TFT display, HSTC, dual-channel ABS and disc brakes. Bookings are open for Rs. 5,000, with deliveries starting from mid-October 2026.

Honda ADV 160 Launched in India at Rs. 1.70 Lakh

Honda has launched the ADV 160 in India at Rs. 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The adventure-styled maxi scooter will be sold through Honda Redwing and Bigwing dealerships.

It uses a 156.9cc liquid-cooled engine producing 16.09 bhp and 14.9 Nm. The scooter gets a TFT display with RoadSync, navigation, traction control, USB charging and 27-litre under-seat storage. Bookings for ADV 160 are open for Rs. 5,000, with deliveries expected by mid-October 2026.

MATTER Plans Four New Electric Bikes in 24 Months

MATTER

MATTER Motor Works plans to launch four new electric motorcycles over the next 12 to 24 months. The company has raised $25 million, or around Rs. 240 crore, in growth capital.

The upcoming motorcycles will be based on the AERA platform and target different rider segments. MATTER will also expand manufacturing, supply chain capacity, and distribution. The company has not yet announced launch dates or prices for these models.

New TVS iQube 2.3kWh Variant Launched at Rs. 1.16 Lakh

TVS has launched a new iQube 2.3kWh variant at Rs. 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru). It replaces the earlier 2.2kWh entry-level version while keeping the same price.

The new battery increases the claimed IDC range from 94km to 114km. However, the TVS iQube 2.3kWh now gets a smaller 3.68kW motor and a lower 68kmph top speed. It also gets a front drum brake instead of the earlier front disc brake.

2026 KTM 390 Adventure Gets New Arctic White Colour

KTM has introduced a new Arctic White colour for the 2026 390 Adventure in India. The new shade costs Rs. 2.88 lakh (ex-showroom), matching the price of the Ebony Black option.

The Arctic White shade gets white panels with grey graphics, while the older Electronic Orange and Ceramic White shades are no longer available on this version. The motorcycle continues with its 349cc engine producing 41.5 bhp and 33.5 Nm.

Jawa 42 FJ Gets Six New Colours and Price Hike

Jawa has introduced six new colours for the 42 FJ in India, with prices starting at Rs. 2.01 lakh (ex-showroom). The update brings new styling choices without any mechanical changes.

The new colours include All Stars Red, All Stars Nebula Blue, All Stars Chrome, Aurora Green, Deep Matte Black Red and Deep Matte Black. Prices have increased across the range, with the hike reaching up to Rs. 10,992.

Yamaha R2 Launched in India at Rs. 2.30 Lakh

Yamaha R2

Yamaha has launched the new YZF R2 in India at a starting price of Rs. 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle enters the 200cc supersport segment and is available in three variants.

The Yamaha R2 uses a 204cc liquid-cooled engine producing 26.5 PS and 19.1 Nm. It gets a 5-inch TFT display, ride modes, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and a bidirectional quickshifter. The motorcycle weighs 149 kg and gets a six-speed gearbox.

New TVS Jupiter 110 Spectral Variant Launched at Rs. 89,825

TVS Jupiter 110

TVS has launched the Jupiter 110 Spectral dual-tone range at Rs. 89,825 (ex-showroom). It is available in Spectral Blue and Spectral Copper colour options.

Both versions get sequential turn lamps and a pillion backrest as standard. The scooter continues with its 113.3cc engine, producing 7.91 bhp and 9.80 Nm. The new colours bring fresh styling while the mechanical setup remains unchanged.

Ola S1Z Electric Scooter Launched at Rs. 79,999

Ola S1Z Electric Scooter

Ola Electric has launched the new S1Z in India at a starting price of Rs. 79,999 (ex-showroom). The electric scooter is offered with 3.1kWh and 5.1kWh battery options.

The smaller battery offers a claimed 179km range, while the larger pack delivers up to 301km. Both versions use a 4kW motor with a 70kmph top speed. The Ola S1Z also gets a 4.3-inch LCD, cruise control, reverse mode and OTA updates.

2027 Kawasaki Versys 650 Launched at Rs. 8.63 Lakh

Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Versys 650 in India at Rs. 8.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The price remains unchanged compared with the previous model.

The major update is a new Candy Lime Green colour, replacing the earlier Metallic Graphite Gray shade. The motorcycle continues with its 649cc parallel-twin engine producing 66 bhp and 61 Nm. It also retains its TFT display, traction control, dual-channel ABS and 21-litre fuel tank.

Ather Konarc Arrives With Up to 200km Range

Ather has launched the new Konarc electric scooter in India at a starting price of Rs. 99,999 (ex-showroom). It is based on the new EL 01 platform and becomes the brand's most affordable electric scooter. 

The Ather Konarc is available in S Line and Z Line options, with the S Line offering 100km, 125km, 161km and 200km range options. Prices for the listed S Line versions start at Rs. 99,999 and go up to Rs. 1.45 lakh.
