Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Versys 650 in India at Rs. 8.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The price remains the same as the MY2026 model. However, the latest model gets a new colour option.
The 2027 Versys 650 is now available in Candy Lime Green, which replaces the Metallic Graphite Gray colour offered on the MY2026 motorcycle. Apart from the new paint scheme, there are no changes to the bike’s design, engine, features or mechanical parts.
The new Candy Lime Green shade is used on the front mudguard, fuel tank extensions, tail section and part of the side fairing. The headlamp nacelle and fuel tank are finished in Metallic Spark Black, giving the motorcycle a contrasting look.
The rest of the styling remains unchanged from the previous model.
The Kawasaki Versys 650 continues to use a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It produces 66bhp at 8,500rpm and 61Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The Kawasaki motorcycle continues to come with a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity. It also gets two-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) and dual-channel ABS for added safety.
This adventure tourer bike also gets LED lighting and an adjustable windscreen. Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a rear monoshock.
The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and comes with a large 21-litre fuel tank. It has a seat height of 845mm and weighs 220kg in running order.
Overall, the 2027 Kawasaki Versys 650 is mainly a colour update, while the engine, features, dimensions and mechanical components remain unchanged.
