All New Bajaj Pulsar 150 Launched At Rs. 1.15 Lakh

Bajaj Auto has launched the all new Pulsar 150 in India with several major updates. The motorcycle gets a new design, engine, frame, suspension setup, and modern features. However, Bajaj has kept the familiar Pulsar shape, which gives the new model a clear connection with its earlier versions.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes with three variants, with prices starting at Rs. 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In addition, the top variants get a 5 inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation.

The new Pulsar 150 is available in three variants. The base model gets a single-seat setup, while the higher variants offer a TFT display and different seat options.

Therefore, buyers can choose between three variants according to their budget and feature needs. The motorcycle is available in Saffire Blue, Ebony Black Ink Blue, Black Magenta Red, Fury Red and Pearl Metallic White.

Pulsar 150 Gets New Design and Features

The new Pulsar 150 gets a sharper design while keeping the familiar Pulsar look. It features a new headlight with LED DRLs, sporty tank extensions and a new tail-light. Moreover, the bike gets all-LED lighting.

Bajaj has also upgraded the instrument console. The base variant gets a colour LCD console, while the higher variants get a 5-inch TFT display. Both systems support smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts.

New Technology and Hardware

The TFT version also gets music controls and document storage. In addition, the Bajaj motorcycle gets a USB Type-C charging port, silent start system, hazard light button and Crawl Tech.

Bajaj has also made important changes to the bike's hardware. The new Pulsar 150 gets a new frame and monoshock rear suspension. However, it continues with a telescopic fork at the front and 17-inch alloy wheels.

New 150cc Engine

The biggest change comes from the engine. The new Pulsar 150 uses an air/oil-cooled 150cc engine that produces 14 PS and 14.1 Nm. It works with a five-speed gearbox.

In addition, the bike gets a switchable engine stop/start system and a silent starter. Perhaps these features can help improve the everyday riding experience and fuel efficiency.

Pulsar 150 Marks 25 Years of Pulsar

The launch comes as Bajaj celebrates 25 years of the Pulsar in India. Therefore, this new generation marks an important update for one of the brand's most popular motorcycles.

Overall, Bajaj has changed the Pulsar 150 in several areas while keeping its familiar identity. The motorcycle will compete with the Honda Unicorn, TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, Hero Xtreme 160R, and Yamaha FZ-S Fi.
