The subsequent tie-up between them helped Kawasaki establish a strong presence in the premium motorcycle market of India. Later, in the year 2017, Kawasaki decided to end its tie-up with Bajaj to establish completely independent operations with their own dealerships and service centers.

The Indian lineup of the brand today ranges from affordable motorcycles like the W175 to high-performance ones like the Ninja ZX-10R and Z H2. Some strong points of Kawasaki's bikes are their aerodynamic design, durability, and refined engines, suiting Indian roads and global standards.

• Street/naked bikes: Models such as Kawasaki Z650 and Kawasaki Z900 are available within a range of Rs. 7.26 Lakh & Rs. 9.99 Lakh.
• Cruiser and touring bikes: The Kawasaki Vulcan S features relaxed ergonomics and highway comfort. It is priced at around Rs 7.59 lakh.
• Adventure/sport touring bikes: Bikes like Kawasaki Versys 650 and Kawasaki Versys‑X 300 serve the touring & trail rider segments. The Versys-X 300 is listed around Rs. 3.49 lakh for the 2026 variant. On the other hand, Versys 650 comes with a price range of Rs. 8.48 Lakh.
