The Indian two-wheeler market witnessed an exciting week with multiple new launches across different segments. From stylish entry-level bikes to a powerful litre-class machine, each brand brought something new to the table.

As a result, the week felt energetic for enthusiasts who enjoy both daily commuters and high-performance rides. In addition, these launches show that brands are focusing on variety, value and rider experience as they prepare for a strong festive and year-end season.

Yamaha XSR155 Launched in India 

 
Yamaha kicked off the week with the launch of the XSR 155 at Rs. 1,49,990 (introductory). The bike blends retro themes with the proven foundation of the MT-15, and this combination may attract young buyers.

The 155cc liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation delivers 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm. Moreover, the engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and an assist-and-slipper clutch. This engine is known for its smooth performance in traffic and its strong pull at higher speeds, so short highway rides should feel easy. 

Yamaha FZ-Rave Launched 

In addition, Yamaha also launched the new FZ-RAVE at Rs. 1,17,218. The bike shares most of its parts with the standard FZ but brings a fresh front design. It carries the reliable 149cc air-cooled engine that makes 12.2bhp and uses a five-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the bike feels light and easy to steer with a kerb weight of 136 kg. The 13-litre fuel tank gives it a reasonable range for daily commutes or relaxed weekend rides.

Hero Xtreme 125R Dual-Channel ABS Variant Introduced 

Hero also joined the action by launching the Xtreme 125R Dual-Channel ABS version at Rs. 1.04 lakh. This makes it the most premium variant in the Xtreme 125R lineup. The single-channel ABS version costs Rs. 92,500, and while the difference may feel steep, the extra braking safety can help new riders feel more confident.

The bike continues to serve as a sporty commuter for daily use, and its updated safety package may influence more first-time buyers to consider it.

Kawasaki Z1100 Launched in India

However, the biggest launch of the week came from Kawasaki with the Z1100, priced at Rs. 12.79 lakh. This supernaked motorcycle uses a 1,099cc inline-four engine producing 136bhp and 113Nm, shared with the Ninja 1100SX.

In addition, it gets an aluminium frame, fully adjustable Showa suspension, Tokico brakes, and Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres. Together, these updates create a powerful and sharp machine for riders who want serious performance.
